When you have set up automatic controls for your trains to run around your layout you may want to switch the points automatically too.
For example setting a point correctly as you approach it from a turnout or deciding to send one loco one way and another the other.
These controls allow you to switch the points as a loco passes over them. This can enable complex systems to be set up so that all the points are operated automatically.
There are two types of controller one for normal points and the other for Y-Points
