TX Security Camera System w/ Remote HUD
Set of 6 each Black or White (Mod-Copy) 48 KB Each - with Pan Control

Pick which set you want to use (Black or White) and unbox them into inventory.
All the prims are mod so you can tint the white Cameras to match your shop.

Note, the HUD will only work for the numbered black set of 6, or the numbered white set of 6, not all 12 cameras at the same time.

Scripts are no mod for obvious reasons.

Position as many Cameras as you like (up to six are supported by the HUD)

Point them in the general direction of the areas you want to monitor.

They are named - they must stay named as they are as the HUD buttons work via the camera name. Also, do not change the description as this is needed as well.

Do not link them to anything as it will break the Panning feature.

Wear the HUD. Hit your escape key on your keyboard to ensure your avatar camera is at its resting position, this is not needed every time but if a Button does not activate a camera on your screen it usually means your camera focus is on something else. Test by clicking the buttons. Clicking button 1 should allow you to see TX Cam One. 2 to TX Cam Two and so on. When you click a Camera button it will turn green. Only one Camera at a time can be viewed. Click it again to go back to your normal avatar camera. The button will then go back to white.

If you want a camera to Pan, click it, it will Pan to 12 different positions, with a 5 second rest in between moving. One camera can effectively cover over 180 degrees in this mode. To not have it pan, click the camera again and it will go back to its straight ahead view.

When you are viewing a camera, you also have the ability to click within that cameras viewport as if you were standing there, ie freecam, so if you do want to re-position the camera you can do so, or move manipulate or click anything in your viepoint.

While the cameras CAN be resized, its not recommended to make them bigger, as it will put too much of the cameras mesh in your view. But they can be resized if wanted, and it will not affect the Pan feature.

Thats it, any questions hit me up.

It's easy to set your camera on an avatar from radar but not so easy to cam an object, area search being hit and miss. This HUD gives you that ability. What distinguishes it is
(i) you don't have to sit on a anything
(ii) the panning works much better than systems that require you to use camera controls: these tend to leave you gazing into outer space.
You can interact as well as view so you can for example activate rlv traps if you are that way inclined. The HUD itself is inobtrusive and reliable.
