BASIC KICKSTART

1. CHOOSING A REZ TYPE

While some people have lots of prim space to play with, others have parcels that are more restrictive. Touch the vase to bring up the menu and press the "Settings" button to choose the "Rez Type" that is right for you. If you're on land with a tight prim budget, you'll probably want to set the Rez Type to "Temporary". This rezzes the blossoms as "temp rez" objects, which means that no matter how many prims make up the blossoms, they counts as 0 against your parcel prim allotment. The vase will then set a timer to replace the blossoms once each minute. You may notice a brief flash as the blossoms are re-rezzed, though it's almost indiscernable.

If prims are no option, or if you find that brief flash annoying, you might wish to choose the "Static" Rez Type. This rezzes the blossoms as permanent fixtures, which do count against your parcel's prim allotment, and which do not re-rez each minute. No timer is set, and the blossoms stay put until you empty the vase.

*TIP: One of the vase's features is it's ability to "summon" it's pieces if moved. When you move the vase, it will call any of it's rezzed pieces to it. If lag causes something to not respond, you can simply empty the vase and re-rez the blossoms again.

2. CHANGING THE VASE NAME

In addition to being able to change the blossom rez type, you can also change the name of your vase. Simply touch the vase to bring up the menu, press the "Settings" button, and follow the prompts. You can change this as many times as you wish.

3. RESTRICTING OR BROADENING ACCESS

The owner will also be given a "Security" button both on the vase's menu, allowing you to reset the vase (in case a sim crash has mucked something up and things are stuck), change settings, store secret messages, and indicate who has access to:

a) rezzables settings,
b) the secret message.

By default, only the owner has access to these things. The options menu gives you a chance to change this so that people in the same group as the vase can access one or both of these things, or anyone can access one or both. Alternatively you can choose to manage access through a guest list, which allows you to specify the names of the exact people that you want to allow to manage the vase. Recap on access options:

4. SECRET MESSAGES

The Vase if Heirloom Rose Blossoms has one of those special feature sets: the ability to be a "secret courier" for your words. Each vase is capable of storing a message that can only be accessed by the person you set it for, and no one else. You can review this, change it, or delete it at any time.

Wanna leave a little good morning for the gal you're sweet on? Tuck a vase on the nightstand and store a little message for her to access when she touches it. You'll find a variety of objects sold at Alchemy's Attic contain this feature, allowing you to make a ritual out of leaving little endearments for each other around the house or garden, or perk notes for group members as a way of personalizing shared spaces.

5. PLANNED UPGRADES
