In each box, we have 4 versions of the aircraft with the same textures. There are 2 different "performance" versions, normal and enhanced "Wild" version, which can be identified by the D-Day stripes. Each of those versions comes in WCS (Wilder Combat System - explained below) and VICE. The Normal version is Mod so users can do their own textures. VICE perms prevent user mod avaliability, and because of enhanced performance we made Wild version no-mod, so other combatants can know what they're up against.

Features -

WCS Combat System -
Wilder Combat System is a sensor-based, low-lag, combat system for second life similar to TCS. In its current incarnation, WCS affords 10 hit points like TSC and CCC, counting them down on each hit, until 0 is reached and you "die". The default channel for WCS is the sams as TCS, so it can be used with any TCS vehicle, or VICE vehicle with TCS added. WCS allows for bombs and rockets that work in rez areas, and are installed in the F6F. The benefits of WCS are that it's low-lag, and can be used in no-rez sims.

From Niki -
Wilder Mills aviation has always been on the cutting edge of fighter performance. Some of the best pilots in SL were part of the wilder skies groups and we always pushed ourselves and each other to the edge, but there was a limit on how far we would push our scripts. Upon my return that limit now has been pushed a bit more then Wilder Skies feels comfortable with, and in two different directions. Still keeping with tradition in Wilder Skies, always trying to meet the demands of the best pilots in SL, we have givin you the Wilder version along with what we call a gulf friendly script. So if you want to fly full throttle with your hair on fire the Hellcat Wild version will keep up with the rest. Or you can be welcomed in all venues with our normal version.
I would like to thank:
Karl Riesman for really helping me alot with this project , every step of the way
Javatar Mocha for always answering my calls
Tank Kwaszes for support an willing to answer any questions
Cornelius Fanshaw for entertaiment and awesome accent
My test pilots - Barry Foehammer, Cornelius Fanshw, Ram Ember, Admiral Halsey, and Sonya Streeter

...and last i would like to thank my partner and friend Meg for keeping me in trouble, without who Wilder Mills Avaition would not exsist

From Meg -
Our aircraft were FIGHTERS within the limits SL provides, including lag. As SL was never designed to be a flight simulator, and with a few exceptions that were compatible with fun, we chose not to chase the elusive "real" standards of others, because none of them are "real" in more than a few aspects. Flying in RL is hard, which is one reason so few do it. Flight simulators are easier, and not "real" except by sterile numbers. While I realize "role play" requires certain element of challenge and difficulty that simulated aspects of "real" can provide, we were not role playes. We were gun fighters. If a new person couldn't show up at Wilder and be out shooting people down within 10 minutes of buying an aircraft, we failed our business model. All the fancy gimmicks, gadgets and added difficulty are designed to keep it challenging for experienced SL Aviators, but they didn't help new people refresh the gene pool.

I'd like to thank:
Karl Riesman for his help and advice to both Niki and I. A legacy gentleman.
As always, my friend Nix Stransky. Someone I never have to apologize to or be embarrassed about asking for help.
Niki for always amazing me with, talent, an eye, and business sense I never had. It's a rare thing to have a friend you can scream at in one moment and laugh with in the next. We never produced an aircraft in SL that we didn't have passionate arguments over. The day we do, it's time to quit.
