21 LI(!) low lag sky platform with four houses

This is an extreme case of seeing is believing so you probably want to use the "See item inworld" link below to take a look yourself.

We have put four of our Alder 1612 houses on a custom made sky platform with a lilypad covered pond and lots of lovely vegetation from OPQ Garden and Landscaping.

It's hard to list the features of this build, there are so many but some of them are:

+ Only 21 land impact
+ Fits a standard 1/16th sim (4096 m2) parcel
+ Extremely low lag - render cost only 10,617
+ Perfect LoD - looking good at any view distance even with the LoD factor set at default 1.25
+ 3D tree screen surroundings, giving a comforting "on the ground feel" without the tacky "picture on a surface" look of an enclosed skybox
+ All plants are alpha masked dratically reducing the lag and eliminating any alpha bleeding issues
+ The houses are placed so there is no direct view from one into another even with the lvoely big panoramic windows
+ The houses have a secluded alcove sheltered from outside view
+ The houses are positioned so the interior of each can be partitioned onto its own parcel with its own privacy and media settings

Chin Rey's Sky Platform 02B is ideal for friends who want to live next to each other, for people who want the community feel but still keep the privacy inside their own home and of course, especially for rental businesses. Add a stack of 10 platforms 300 m apart from 1000 m and upwards, give each tenant 25 prims to play with and you have 40 budget rentals - or maybe we should say luxury jewel box rentals at budget prices - on a single 4096 m2 parcel and even a few prims to spare to decorate the ground level with some OPQ plants!

Do not adjust your viewer!
Well, you can if you want to but you don't have to.
OPQ meshes are made to look good with any standard graphics setting on any viewer and there is no need to lag your computer down with high RenderVolumeLODFactor. (And there's no need for ALM ("Advanced Lighting Mode") either but unlike the LOD factor which is only to compensate for poorly made mesh, ALM does improve the look of everything if your computer can handle it.)
