Yes, this tool works within what was offered.
It translates in the local chat, from my language, to all the languages I have tested.
It has a range of 10, 20 and 100 meters with screaming.
This tool can even be used as your private translator.
To do this just write what you want in your local chat, within the 10 meter limit placed on the tool, translate it into the language you want and put it in the private chat of the person you want to chat with.
I think it is easier than going to Google outside SL.

Doesn't work.
Wasted 150 linden, it doesn't do anything. I set me to english and them to spanish and it just throws it back out in english. Doesn't translate anything. And it doesn't even attempt to traslate the other person. I wanted to choose zero stars and it wouldn't let me.

Works REALLY good. Can only be used in public chat, but that was fine with me. It's an attachment, you wear it. So those people leaving 1 star reviews and getting made that it doesn't work on their land need to know it's something you WEAR. But I had great success with it.
