Welcome!
The AAA Luminosity is a device created to control all lights inside a sim. You can, for example:
<>Change public illumination on a street
<>Control all lights in your house
<>Illuminate endless objects.
The HUD can operate on up to 100 channel ports separately and each port can work on endless lights simultaneously.
The package contains useful scripts that need to be inserted in the object you need to emit light. Also, it contains a notecard with detailed information and instructions. There is also a sample object, for tests.
HUD COMMANDS
<>Light Communication Port (top up). This is the port used to communicate between the HUD and the lights. By pressing 'plus' or 'minus' signs, you can change the port between 00 and 99.
<>On: Turns on the light (for selected channel).
<>Off: turns off the light (for the selected channel).
<>Position: Forces the light source to tell you its position (in case you forgot where it is).
<>Random: changes light and luminosity to random values each 1.3 seconds.
<>Blink: starts light by blinking (just like a neon light).
<>Blinking: works like a defective neon light (one blink each second).
<>Random Blink: random turning on and off.
<>Start Slowly: soft turning on and off, soft color changing.
<>Color Buttons: Touch them to change color of the light.
<>Advanced Color: by manually changing color of the HUD
ADVICES:
1. For a chandelier, it is good to put a 'dictator' and an 'executor' in each prim you want to produce light and to set executors for 'multi = FALSE'.
2. A single prim might not produce enough light for your needs. So, it is good to set an object with many small prims as a source of light.
3. It doesn't matter how large is the source of light, each prim will produce the same luminosity.
LIMITS OF USE
<>If the object you want to produce light is 'no modify', you might not be able to use these scripts on it.
<>Scripts fail to work properly in areas where script activity is restricted.
<>In rare cases (sim crash events or inventory losses), the scripts might be lost or rendered inoperable. It is good to keep a backup copy.
PERMISSIONS:
Scripts are FULL PERM. Objects are NO TRANSFER.
You are welcome to use the scripts to create your own devices and even to sell them. However, creating a new HUD and placing the scripts inside, with no significant changes, is unacceptable. Be a merchant, not a thief.
