Important: This device requires Chat Translator subscription with SmartBots. The

SETUP:
The setup is very easy and takes about 10 minutes.
1. First of all, you need to create account with SmartBots: http://www.mysmartbots.com/
2. Add your SL group to SmartBots and pay subscription.
3. Give a "Join Chat" permission to your SmartBots bot.
Save the Translator's config notecard, and bot will start translating your group messages!

I see a lot of great reviews on here. I hope I will be able to revise mine upwards as well.
The product/service says you can try it for free - right on their main page. I wanted to try setting it up to see if it would work for me. There didn't seem to be any type of free week trial. I contacted their tech support and they wanted me to show them where it said you could try it out for free. I showed them on their main page. They said they'd have to send it up to management to see if this can be resolved. IDK, just kinda seems like a lot of hoops to get the service that's advertised.
This translator says they want a weekly fee
I don't mind paying once for a translator but I am not going to pay every week i am in SL when I may only need it once or twice a year if I meet someone from another country. This is too expensive to use for a person.
Great Concept!!!
It is a long needed add-on because we are meeting people that speak many languages other than English. A must-have for clubs and stores!
