Touch the HUD and AvScan instantly finds the nearest avatars around you - no camera aiming required. Select from the menu and get a full breakdown of every attachment they're wearing, privately, in your chat only.
AvScan uses a tiered scanning approach. First it searches for avatars within 10 metres in all directions - the fastest and most natural way to scan someone nearby. If no one is in range, it falls back to camera-targeted mode where you zoom in on your target to aim the scanner. And if neither works, By UUID lets you scan any avatar in the region using their key directly.
If the initial scan returns fewer attachments than expected, AvScan automatically runs a deep scan - fetching the list additional times with short pauses to ensure a complete result. You always get the full picture.
Every scan result includes the avatar's UUID, so you can copy it directly from your chat without hunting through profiles.
All output is delivered privately - nobody else in the sim can see your results. Your avatar never needs to move. The sensor works in all directions invisibly.
