If you're unfamiliar with the Crux as a species, it was a creation by
SL user Malluch Cleaver. They have generously granted me permission
to modernize this, originally sculpted, iconic SL avatar!
To preserve the shape of the original head and keep the iconic
Crux look alive, I chose not to change the shape of the head in order
to fit rigged hair to it. Rigged hair simply will not work. You will need to
use unrigged hair on this avatar. Always try hair demos!

Because of the scripts included, this product says nomod/notrans. But
this isn't the case for the product itself, just the scripts! You can still
modify it with the edit menu. (Except moving, you can't move rigged mesh)

This is the update the old OG crux needed. This avatar is a perfect bento rendition of the original crux avatar, something I've been wishing for since bento was released.
The attention to detail is immaculate, lore accurate, and beautifully made.

F I N A L L Y
So the v2 sculpted crux was my very first furry avatar and is what got me into fully being a furry
This remake, the v3, pays a lot of respect and callbacks to the previous versions of this wonderfully developed species. Angelina I cannot thank you enough, you even went the extra mile to keep the hud similar to the old hud, same music, artwork, everything.
Never have I been happier, my OG avatar go-to's being modernized is so refreshing.
A lot of the older crux head accessories still work with a little modding! None of the tail stuff works tho for the most part.

It's such a nice avatar! super smooth and high quality with decent HUD and multiple colors included!
Personally I always wanted a Crux and I'm super happy with it.
Sadly as of yet there are still not any good clothing options in the MP if any at all, but that's not the creator's fault tho.
I give 4 stars since I love the avatar but the walk, run and typing animations don't work at all for me, maybe these will be updated in the future?
Maybe also a grasp animation could be useful since they have such big paws but that's just me (they do have nice facial animations tho!)
FINALLY
I missed my opportunity to buy the OG avatar way back when. This revamp looks amazing, the dynamic expressions are my favorite part!! My only complaint would be that the HUD is a complete eyesore and a bit hard to read and make out from a quick glance. The options within the HUD are great though! Everything else is amazing, I really cannot complain.
PS: definitely NOT overpriced, this is absolutely worth your money. I'm so happy I can finally be a crux!!! This is already less than a lot of other popular AVs so you shouldn't be complaining lmao.

I've missed this Crux terribly and simple mods for other avis just don't do it justice.
