CHAOS is a fun and innovative combat meter + HUD designed for Second Life tournament and raid combat where equal-stats are required for a fair and even playing-field. It is a skill-based system, and easy to get started, as basic combat is not too dissimilar to traditional combat meters that already exist in SL (the likes of DCS and NH meters etc.)
Although easy to pick up, it'll take plenty of time to master, as CHAOS incorporates other gameplay-enhancing functionalities around the core mechanics of basic combat. For melee-combat, these include the Combos and the Focus-Attacks for instance. Whereas for the range/collision combat, it comes in the form of the Impact-Shield and Respawn Points. For further info about these features, please refer to the User Manual provided in the box.
::FEATURES::
- Efficiently scripted for guaranteed low lag! The Meter and HUD both total just 5 scripts, including the update script.
- Prevents delayed spam hits from causing damage. (i.e: in a laggy sim, you're fighting an opponent and are able to run away with high health, once you're out of range, your health will not start to deplete because of lag). This feature has a leniency of up to 2 seconds. Hits that are lagged/delayed on the LL servers by 2 seconds or more will be ignored.
- Dynamic colors. The meters will change colors automatically according to the player's health value to make it easier for spectators to keep track of battles.
- Unique 'Impact Shield' system to distinguish range-damage from melee damage.
- Respawn Mode for Gun/Bow/Range combat. Players have the ability of setting a Respawn point at a base camp before going out to shoot. If they are killed, they will be returned to their Respawn location 20 seconds after death.
- Combo system - land a succession of hits on your opponent without missing and reap the rewards. The string of combos will be broken if you either miss, or you are unable to land a hit within 0.8 second of your previous hit.
- Intuitive built-in Kicking moves (Use C/crouch key either on ground or in air for Focus-attacks).
- Ability to switch to Classic mode disabling Dynamic colors to avoid confusion during team-fights/raids etc.
- See the enemy's health on HUD! (The opponent which either you hit most recently, or were hit by most recently, will have their health and shield levels displayed on your own HUD. This works for both melee and range.
- Survival mode to add a great twist to FFA-type games... forcing the players to actually have to fight to win.
- Display-Names Support!
- Highly secure! Great measures have been taken regarding script-security to ensure cheating is virtually impossible.
- Automatically detects whether you are fighting 1 vs 1 or as a group/team. The death message will adjust accordingly.
- Shows %(percentage) won by in 1 vs 1 fights.
- Displays up to 3 enemy names in death message if you are killed by multiple opponents (i.e: during raids).

shit
the combat Is crap and doesn't do anything, you're rules don't really give a good example and the zombies in the world that comes with it are so glitchy, they teleport, and just float in the air when they die, plus, after only killing one, none of them had health bars so they couldn't die
Excellent!
I've tried various combat systems on SL for five years, and this is with out question my preferred system. Nevermind the noob below who says it doesn't register hits. He just can't keep aim. The hit registry for this meter is the most reliable I've even used and it's range for melee fighting is realistic and reliable. Low lag due to its minimal script count and absolutely fun with it's various features. Very much like DCS only without the Harry Potter nonsense and endless updates. If you're looking for a fun and reliable system you can use ANYWHERE without configuration and without spending a fortune on cheaty accessories this is the system for you.
bad =/
its fun in some cases but it bugs out alot and 80% of the time does not register hits
