Chainlink Fence & Gates Kit

Contains 12 separate components to enable you to build chainlink security fencing areas.
Each fence piece is a mesh - the larger parts are 1LI each, and the smaller ones are less than 1LI.
There are versions with posts at both ends, and with a post only on one end, so you can join them in long lengths. Also included are an individual post, a rail, and chainlink panel, in case you need to make up a special shape piece.
If you link fence pieces together then often the overall land impact is reduced, compared to having them not linked.
The gates are 2LI for the personnel gate, and 3LI for the twin gate which is big enough for cars etc.
(note that the gates should not be linked to other things, as it might affect their hinge operation).
At default, the gate opens when someone clicks on it, and auto-closes in 30 seconds.
If the owner clicks the POST at the side of the gate, they get a special menu - only the owner will get this.
The menu allows you to change the auto-close time, and to set security options, for access by anyone, limited to a group, or owner-only access.
Every gate can hold its own security setting, so you can have some public areas, and some restricted.
The example fenced compound in the photo is 13LI in total, including two personnel gates and one vehicle gate.
Out of the box they are based on being a 2m high fence, but you can edit this if you need to. There are a few suggestions in the enclosed notecard for good ways to stretch the fence while keeping the texture 'repeats' settings.
The gates should not be re-sized, as this may affect the way they hinge.
Loaded with good LOD settings, so they will keep their shape when you zoom out or view from a longer draw distance.
Simple physics shape to ease the load on the SL servers, and therefore help minimise lag.

(gates will show in inventory as no-mod, but will be mod when rezzed)

A great product, easy to use and looks awesome in place, very flexible kit. And a very fair price for the quality.
Truly a Must have!
I have been in SL for a long time and have purchased many fences only to be disappointed in what I get. However, this product is truly a superior mesh build. For any reason especially RP. You must get this product.
Great customer service
Bought these for a project where a secure fence was needed and the standard sizing just wasn't quite big enough. After resizing the gates myself, the hinge opening was out by a fair margin. Contacted the vendor with the needed sizes for the gates and within 15 minutes... I had a re sized and perfectly hinged set of gates. Great product, and great customer service. If you're looking for a chainlink fence, with gates, this set is perfect.
