36 m long Scale 1:1 Coastal Class Submarine.
Diesel Electric drive.
Capable of carrying up to Seven people.
Working clocks and gauges.

Coastal Class Mk II.
Constructed as a training and coast patrol vessel.
Diet was dried foods, tea and or coffee.
Only two crew could sleep at any one time.
The tight confines were the first a Naval Cadet would experience of submarine life.
It quickly sorted out those that were and those that were not suited to submarine life.
It did not carry armament. None ever entered direct combat roles.
On occasion was reportedly used in espionage missions.
The type is fondly remembered for being the practical teaching aid at the Submariner Academy
for many years after. Twelve were employed full time.
The only surviving examples now only exist as replicas in Second Life.
