Collection "Grand Tour" -C&G-

A collection of European furniture and other decorative objects, inspired by the Grand Tour, a journey undertaken by the European upper classes across the continent to learn about classical cultures, in particular the Roman culture of present-day Italy.
These trips, which lasted for months, were considered essential for the education of young artists at a time when the old rock gardens were gradually being replaced by the elegant taste of classicism.
