Combs Full Perm

Dont overthink it. This product is bad. I gave the developer the benefit of the doubt and i just tossed money in the dumpster. Maybe the developer tried to cut the Li as much as possible that made this one of a kind item (Cus i been looking and nothing out there like it) nothing but garbage. The model starts to not break but deform completely whit in 5 METERS! of distance at full 4.0 LOD and Complexity at full whit Medium graphics. So nothing can save this item. The comb is huge btw,The size of a normal avatar head. Scaled it down about 50% and zoomed out about 3 meters and deformed turned in to a triangular shape.... Sirmiumstyle, do your customers and SL a favor and dont upload this crap and go back to the grid, add more volume and send your customers an update of the product. You had a nice unique item here. But you overlooked the bad upload and decided to cover your own loss by cheating your customers in exchange for a few Ls and a bad rep for your brand.

The ad flat out lies about the LI. The comb has an LI of 3, not one. I wanted to use it as a decoration on a hair booth vendor and at a LI of 3, it puts me over my prim allowance.

Also the comb does NOT scale down nicely.. it came in a super jumbo size. When I tried to scale it down to a more realistic size, it looses all resolution (unless you really zoom in) and you cant see the individual teeth of the comb. It looks like a black blob.

Finally, the ad leads you to believe a shadow comes with the combs, making them nice for display. It doesn't.

The pick doesn't look very nice either. it is recognizable as a pick, but it doesn't realy look anything like the picture in the ad.

I feel cheated. This is totally unusable for my needs

Just what i needed. very nice pair. I don't care about the texture repeat since i just wanted the handled comb black anyway. Very satisfied with my purchase.

I bought this for the comb, to include in a set. The way the ad reads, you assume you can texture them both. The pick is texturable, comes with a 'wood texture' but the comb - when you put any texture on it, no matter the size... has no texture repeats. It remains a solid color from whatever image you put on there. You cannot retexture it.

Disapointed because that's what I wanted to do with it.
I'll work around it - and ADD a prim with the graphics on the handle rather than retexturing it... I just wish the ad had included this 'feature' to make it clear.
