The Destino Fender Kit from Luna Fatale Marine includes all eight (8) boat fenders and both cleats from our Fender FATPACK pre-configured for a perfect fit on the Destino.
■ IMPORTANT ■
To link add-ons to the Destino you will need to buy a relinking script such as Nikki's ReLink. I've found this to be the most reliable method for linking additional prims to an object who's scripts are not written to accommodate adding or removing prims. Even though Destino has modify permissions, you can't simply link (or unlink) prims. If you have other yachts, airplanes or anything that contains scripts that do not accommodate linking additional prims, you will find this tool very useful. Great care has been taken to create fenders and ropes (lines) that accommodate the unique tumblehome of Destino's sheer. I've found that six (6) of the included fenders work best. I've included these in two (2) coalesced objects, one for each side of the yacht. You don't have to use them all, even if you rez the coalesced objects you can remove any you don't want and/or add others. You may not want six (6) fenders on each side, you may want a different configuration on each side for more realism.
✔ Note: You also get all eight (8) individual fenders and two (2) styles of cleats.
✔ Note: The included cleats allows you to use these fenders anywhere on your yacht and also on your dock.
You may place these fenders in any location on the yacht that you find aesthetically pleasing or realistic. If there isn't a cleat or rail to hang a fender where you want it you can add a cleat from the kit. (The fenders in the coalesced objects utilize the yacht's stanchions, additional cleats are not required.)
✔ Note: You will still be able to change the color of the fenders and the ropes (lines) even after the fenders are linked to your Destino. You will also be able to toggle all the fenders visibility with a single touch.
■ Land Impact:
Spherical & Cylindrical fenders are 2 LI, Horizontal fenders are 3 LI
Boat Fenders can be reduced by one (1) LI when used on a dock by removing unneeded scripts. (The Help notecard describes how to do this.)
Both cleats are just 1 LI (actually 0.500 LI, so that in many cases linking it to the fender can save parcel prims).
