This is Version H of the Drow Translatascan Tool by Aleena Yoshiro. Please visit http://www.auroris.net/translatascan for updates. You may freely give this tool to anyone you wish. The Drow Translatascan dictionary includes most english words, but it does not correct for bad spelling. If it sees a word it does not recognize, it will leave it as english. If you wish to add a word to the translatascan, please IM Aleena Yoshiro.

Instructions:

Attach the Drow Translatascan to a wearable or HUD location of your choosing.

Configuration:

The best way to configure the Drow Translatascan is by editing the script.

The easiest way to configure the Drow Translatascan is by changing the object's description. You can set the listen channels by writing in the description field. If you set the description to something like, "5:6:7", then the drow translatascan tool will listen on channels 5, 6 and 7. These channels, in order, are: English to Drow, Drow to English, and OOC mode. Please be sure to reset the drow translatascan if configuring it by this method. Once you have set the description, reset the drow translatascan by typing the word 'reset' on any channel the translatascan listens on.

You can also use the Name Masquerade feature if your drow name is different from your SL character name. This feature is only available by editing the configuration variable within the script itself. The script coments will direct you.

Note that there are a few caveats for this tool.
(1) It won't work on no-script land
(2) Due to limitations on Second Life Scripting Langauge and the fact that this tool contacts an external server, your translations may be queued or lagged, especially if a lot of people are using it or the sim you are in is experiencing extreme time dilation.
