This is the ultimate spotlight! This spotlight is 2 prims and configured through
an easy to use menu system. It is modify/copy so not only can you make as
many as you want but you can change the Spotlight prim as well Whether you
need lights for your products or to light up your entire sim. You can:
- Change select the length of the beam from 10 to 256 meters!
- Change the diameter of the beam
- Choose stationary, rotating or tracking beam
- Change the speed, axis, and sweep of the beam rotation
- Change the beam color and glow
- Set to automatically turn on at night and off during the day
- Set who can control the spotlight
Instructions
To turn the light on and off simply click any part of the light.
To access the system menu click and hold the mouse
button down for 1 second. The following menu will be
displayed:
On/Off - Turns the light on or off
Auto/Manual - Auto mode turns the light on at night and off during daylight.
Manual mode allows the user to turn the light on and off by
clicking. If the light is in Auto mode it will revert to the auto
setting 60 seconds after it is clicked on or off. In other words,
if it is daylight and the light is turned on it will automatically
turn off within 60 seconds. If it is night and the light is turned
off it will automatically turned on within 60 seconds.
Track On/Off - If track on is selected the beam will track the nearest person
within the length of the beam.
Color - Select a color for the beam from a menu.
Glow - Select the amount of glow in the beam when it is on.
Diameter - Select the the diameter of the beam from 6 different sizes.
Length - Select the length of the beam from 10 meters to 256 meters
Rotation - Select the speed, axis, and sweep of the beam
Speed - the speed at which the beam will move
=> None, Slow, Medium, Fast
Axis - the axis the beam will rotate around
=> X axis, Y axis, Z axis, or Flip
Flip will change the direction of the beam 180 degrees
Sweep - how big a circle the beam will make
=> 0 degrees, 5 degrees, 10 degrees, 15 degrees
Access... - A menu to set the access to Owner, All, or Group.
