• Accurately scores 1 to 10 points per hit
• User mouselook shoots the 'START' controller to start and score a round
• Target hides and re-appears in random position
• After a good round (60 or greater points) target will move, faster after 90+, and fast and smaller after 120+
• NOTE: works with most physical weapons (bows, guns, etc)
Unlike the trivial STATIC target, you cannot simply go into mouselook and slowly aim and keep reshooting. This target will hide and then re-appear in a different place, so you must continuously re-aim. Each time the target appears it has a color indicating its difficulty - how quickly it hides and how relatively quickly it moves (green=easy, yellow, orange, red=hard).
The game starts at EASY. If you score a good round (60 or greater) then the next round the target will also move (MEDIUM). 90+ round and the target moves faster (HARD), 120+ round and it also gets smaller (EXPERT).
BUT, we need to warn you: if you have a bad round then you drop back to a lower difficulty level and will find that you are driven to rise back to the higher levels. You will find this range very challanging and addictive, you will *WANT* to stay at the higher levels and will push yourself to get there and stay there.
The scoring is very precise. It does not use the clumsy/unreliable method of multiple-prim rings, it uses a single prim and then uses a mathematical algorithm to calculate the actual surface hit position and then scores 1-10 points based on that.
Although simple to use, the dynamic target forces you to quickly develop good aiming and shooting skills. The accurate scoring forces you to develop accurate aiming, and once you advance to a moving target you must also develop good skill at "leading" a moving target to score well.
Because the target uses physical collisions, it can be used with almost any weapon that fires a physical object (arrow, bullet, etc). Therefore it works with SpellFire Bows, DCS Bows, GM Bows, and others (as well as most Guns).
v2.43+ SPECIAL NOTE: This system now includes an OPTIONAL 1-prim ScoreCube showing the top 10 relative scores in HoverText. If you don't want it (or want to use the nicer ScoreBoard) then just delete it.
v2.40+ SPECIAL NOTE: The optional scoreboard now has reduced prims to LI=24 As well, there are *TWO* versions of the system you can chose to install 1) the standard Auto-Adjust version; 2) a new Manual-Set version when you set the difficulty level manual (good for contests).
v2.31+ SPECIAL NOTE: This system now includes an OPTIONAL scoreboard showing the top 10 relative scores. If you dont want it (or cannot afford the 24-prims) just *DELETE* it the same as you can delete the OPTIONAL free-bow-dispenser. *IF* you are an existing customer and cant get your system to send an auto-update, just I.M "Restless Swords" to get the latest version..
FREE BOWS: If you do not have a bow, or your friends do not, it includes a dispenser for a very simple free bow (no sheath, no Draw/Store commands, just wear and mouselook shoot). If several people are shooting, you can all use this same bow for fair and even competition. If you dont want to use it, just delete the dispenser.
