This is the very simplest entry-level of the Dynamic-Archery set of products. It is a STATIC target that can be used to learn how to accurately aim your bow. The scoring is very precise. It does not use the clumsy/unreliable method of multiple-prim rings, it uses a single prim and then uses a mathematical algorithm to calculate the actual surface hit position and then scores 1-10 points based on that.
If you do not have a bow, or if you have friends who do not, it includes a dispenser for a free BEGINNERS bow (no sheath, no Draw/Store commands, just wear and mouselook fire). This is not a fancy Role-Play bow, but is perfectly suitable for learning how to accurately shoot any Bow. It is Spellfire Short-Bow performance compatible (redraw speed, arrow speed, arrow damage, arrow drop).
Because the target uses physical collisions, it can be used with almost any device that fires a physical object (arrows, bullets, etc). Therefore it works with SpellFire Bows, DCS Bows, GM Bows, guns, and other devices.

Worth the lindens
Using it for a fun activity at a summer camp, having the spellfire system (no longer sold) isn't necessary to use this. Plus it's cheap, looks ok, and even hands out bow's to your guests!

Simple to use, low prim: 3P target, 2P dispenser [can be left rezzed or taken up-copy] Great backyard fun. Also worked with a pistol I have. Shooting animation sorta works & items are low-def. At this price...Buy it
Simple or complex
This is a great addition to an archery range or for looks in any area. A very good target for someone learning archery and the ability to set the score calls to shouts or IMs makes it versatile for simple practice or a small competition.

The previous review sums it up perfectly. Great price, and then I had a question about how to disable shouting of the arrow hits and the seller replied within 24 hours and was very nice about it. So yes, this set will shout, or say your hits or you can "quiet" it (disable the text) all together. Gotta love the bow dispenser as well and great sounds too! Worth every linden.
