The "Ez" Particle Editor creates llParticleSystem functions which easily can be copied into LSL source code.
Since rezzing 137 prims can be a problem, I've created this HUD edition of the "Ez" Particle Generator.
To use it, simply wear the HUD and click the "REZ" button to rez a 2 prim particle source at your avatar's position.
You will find the stand-alone version here.
This tool is freeware, it features everything you need to create custom particle effects, and the generated codes may be used without any restrictions!
* It's FAST
* It's FREE
* It's EASY
How to use:
* wear it
* rez the particle source
* alter values till you like the result
* generate LSL code and paste it into your own scripts
* be happy ;)

NOTE: This tool doesn't generate entire LSL scripts, but only particle functions.
You will have to paste the generated code into a script to use it.
If you aren't sure how to do this, see the included manual for an brief example.

Latest version notes:
1.1 - BugFix: HUD no longer turns itself around when attached to an non-default attachment point

easy to use and simple!
Thanks for the free particle editor! It's easy to use, and very handy!
so fun!
this was so much fun, and easy to use :3 i was having a hard time trying to find a particle effect i liked for something i was trying to make, and then i came across this, and it's so helpful! thank you so much!
missing info :)
great hud and very generous creator ty so much.. the only thing is that when u create a script particle its incomplete and how to make it work is this:
create a new script in your object and copy your particle script from chat after the word generator: ... then in the new script cut what is written between the brackets from line 3 to 9.. DONT delete the brackets.. save script an voila :)
enjoy
Great way to experiment :)
Love it, I do write particle sets and this cuts the drudge out of change - test - change - test and the random thingy is great fun :) OK, not for the clueless, but there again its free and a great addition to my toolkit. Totally recommended.
And OK - I did accidently drag a texture to the HUD interface, but that was me being cackhanded:)
It's great! Even if you already know how to write particle effect scripts, this is a huge time saver, and very easy to use. Everyone should have one!
