The "Ez" Particle Editor creates llParticleSystem functions which easily can be copied into LSL source code.
Since rezzing 137 prims can be a problem, I've created this HUD edition of the "Ez" Particle Generator.
To use it, simply wear the HUD and click the "REZ" button to rez a 2 prim particle source at your avatar's position.
You will find the stand-alone version here.
This tool is freeware, it features everything you need to create custom particle effects, and the generated codes may be used without any restrictions!

NOTE: This tool doesn't generate entire LSL scripts, but only particle functions.
You will have to paste the generated code into a script to use it.

The interface is messed up when I wear it and the textures are badly misaligned - can't see what options I'm changing.
When I found this creator's 137-Prim Particle Generator I was thrilled despite the large prim count. I found myself finally creating particle scripts to precisely meet my needs in no time. I wrote a review (which you can see if you look at his other Ez Particle Editor). My only lament was that there was no HUD version, then I took another look and found it! I have tried Particle Generators costing thousands of L$s but this is the first one I have really been pleased with and found myself able to create what I wanted rather than the random things blindly pushing buttons created. I took about one hour with the manual and the Ez Particle Editor and making notes as I went, I found myself in complete control of the device in no time. You can spend thousands of L$s but I sincerely doubt you will top this device. Just take your time, make notes inside the manual as you go, and in no time, your creations will be precisely what you imagined when you began. Thank you Hampton for the wonderful creation! QUICK COMMENT: In response to the other reviews, it does show the particles as you make changes they are instantly changed and all of the scripts I have made are perfect, without any syntax errors.
Perhaps THE best freeware product on XStreetSL! The llParticleSystem code generated is 100% accurate and makes designing particles no longer a chore but actually fun to play with. I will recommend this product to anyone who is struggling with scripting particles.
Easy to use as the others say. Being a hud makes it so great! No rezing a giant machine with a giant prim count. Just wear and work on your particle in peace. It still leaves you a window to see what is happening around you, so you aren't surprised by someone suddenly in front of you asking what your doing standing there like an afk camping zombie. *giggles* Or maybe this is something for you to do while you camp? Hmmmm
I like both the in world and the HUD version, but the HUD version is infinitely more practical, given that 137 prims isn't always easy to find.
