[Fairport] Ninjato
=======================
Real Life History and Specs:
Type of weapon: Sword
Origin: Japan
Time period: Approximately 1980 to now
The ninjato is interesting in that it's totally an invention of Hollywood and historically did not exist, though stage / decoration versions exist today as well as functional 'combat ready' versions. The ninjato seems to have appeared in American martial arts / ninja action films in the 1980s and keeps appearing in such films to this day, the weapon coming to be associated with use by ninja assassins / commandos; it's blade being usually short generally no longer than 24 inches with an always square-shaped handguard and used either one or two handed, a sheath being strapped on the back of said ninjas. Because this weapon did not historically exist, martial arts schools that teach with this weapon have varying schools of thought on how best to use it. Typically, the sheath of a ninjato would be mildly longer than the actual blade; the reason for this is that a ninja could fill the tip of the sheath with metsubishi esque fillings (chili powder, crushed glass, sand, etc) so that if need be said ninja could swing the empty sheath in a circular motion to distract an enemy by blinding them temporarily whether to attack or escape. Ninjatos typically have a straight blade rather than curved as well, the short length of which makes slashes faster than a traditional samurai's katana.

Function / Command
**Please note, if you wish to damage, make sure you are enabled in damage mode; ie: if you are in push mode switch to damage by using the 'enable damage mode' command. There are three settings for damage once you have enabled this mode: low, high, fatal. Damage is determined by the mass of your enemy. That's right, the larger or smaller your enemy avatar's mass alters the amount of damage one can do to them in a Linden damage zone. On average, however, low does about 7-13% damage on a hit, high does 30-40% on a hit, and fatal does 80-100% damage on a hit.

Nice sword
I have lot of weapons from this maker, but when they seg wayed to mesh and my bad experience with 99% of the meshed products made me unwilling to buy his newer items this wasn't lag enducing plastic shine crap that most mesh things are but honestly be happier with things made with more classic sl building materials so its optional choice for costumers
