This package include fully baked mesh castle fortification that features grass and rock terrain in the courtyard, dungeon cave in the basement and multi-level floor plan that is connected with several staircases. Three texture change options for courtyard terrain with summer, winter and autumn textures.
WARNING: All items are copy / modify / non transferable. They can be resized and color tinted. Lightning effects you see are directly baked on textures. We do not provide so called “shadow maps” and we do not give away or sell our textures. All items are in mesh. Keep in mind that unlinking prims will increase land impact and might mess up the physics shape.
DOOR MANUAL: By default doors are set free access for everyone and manual close by touch. If you need to change door settings here is an instruction on how to do it.
- click, hold and slide your mouse over the door (mouse needs to touch at least 15% of the door prim)
- when menu pops up select if access is allowed to everyone, to owner, to a SL group (the one set to the door in Edit/General tab/ Group)
- Check the other menu options for opening movement, auto-close time etc.
- Click the button [FINISH] when terminated.
Optional - you can edit the note card inside door "-My door access list" and add the names after "AllowedAvats = "

Excellent Prebuild - Stills Holds Up in 2025
As a big fan of medieval aesthetics, and castles in particular, I had the good fortune to stumble across a version of this build rezzed out in the world during my travels across the grid.
The initial impression was favourable enough with what is simultaneously both a very reasonably sized but still impressive in scale castle, but as I explored the various rooms inside the structure, it became apparent just how clever the way this is built is.
Multiple floors and spiral staircases await, the whole thing in a connected circuit allowing to get from Point A to Point B from pretty much anywhere inside the castle. Even more clever is the way the undercroft is handled, the uneven terrain of the outer courtyard intentionally creating space for an area beneath part of the castle that syncs back into the interior circuit seamlessly.
No need to terraform to have a nice dungeon space beneath your castle towers here. There are multiple rooms spread across multiple floors that can be freely decorated to give your castle a wide range of added versatility as well.
For an item from so many years ago, the texture work holds up very nicely as well. Sturdy but weathred stone lends the whole thing a feeling of age and authenticity essential to a castle like this, while the ground terrain of the courtyard has seasonal variants to suit the whole year round. Inside you'll find mixtures of stone and wood flooring depend on which floor of the castle you're on, and stylish archways and arched doors throughout.
Everything about this castle feels right, and for an enthusiast of both the medieval and the fantastical like myself, this was an immediate purchase I knew I had to make after I found where to find this build. If you like medieval or history even half as much as I do, do yourselves a favour and check this out in world, you won't be disappointed.

I have used this castle for since 2016 now , and added a few parts… it’s well designed and the textures are still perfectly up to date.

Disappointing
I use many items created by Fanatik on all my sims and I was really hoping for an item that can be modified and used in different ways. This comes in a rezzer and if you try to edit/modify it comes apart in 5000 pieces that clearly are not designed to be modified from the original design and the textures are really badly put together as you can see when you do try to modify. This item could work if you only intend to use it as one piece and it could present as "ok" - will never work if you want to modify so I feel the creator should clarify that. The price is way too high for an item that clearly can NOT be modified.
Very detailed
I have had this 3 years now and it has not dated at all. I fish it out whenever I have land big enough for it. It is great for weddings as it is not too dark and gothic, I have a wedding area set up in the courtyard part at the moment, but it also makes a good home, and party venue.
