See item in Second LifeAmazing car!! Very much worth the price!
I bought my Garuda Porta Hybrid the previous week and it is among the nicest cars in SL! The first person driving experience is very smooth compared to some other vehicles you might find in SL. It works really well as a civilian car and drives very smoothly when driving across multiple sims. I would highly recommend getting this car!
One of the best cars in SL, EVER! Don't wait for it, GO GET IT!
The title says it all, and I agree whole-heartedly with one of the other reviewers, 5 Gold Stars ain't enough. This one deserves those AND 5 PLATINUM Stars, too! I am absolutely AMAZED at the amount of detail and functionality that even the base vehicle has!
It even includes plenty to customize it with, and that's what I did out of the box: gave it a custom Dew Yellow paintjob, and gave the eco-friendly plant-colored vehicle plenty of dirt-loving styling cues. It now not only has that wild-flower off-roading vibe, but also a fairly lived-in appearance. Easily my favorite vehicle on Second Life, mitts down.
This is also my first vehicle with GEMC on-board, and I can easily see why the system gets (and deserves!) the praise it does. With GEMC Scripting, you can have your vehicle function how YOU want it, remotely or inside the car! For a creative type like myself, making some radio tunes and handlng visual aspects of the car is way beyond the cools!
For regular drivers, it's an awesome car that, while not the most fanciest ride on the market, makes up for it dozens-fold with customization options, details, features, and good handling to boot!
That said, you bet your sweet bippy I'm pleased with this purchase! I'll be looking forward to more vehicles from this shop and with GEMC scripting in general! If I were you (reader of the reviews!), and still a prospective buyer, I'd say... DON'T DELAY! BUY IT NOW!
Thank you so much for this! Always keep doin' great stuff like it!

Five stars are not enough for this car
I bought this car today, rezzed, some quick setup which is very easy and then fun fun fun! As all cars with GEMC this one is amazing; behavior at sim crossing is ok so far; steering is great; drivable in mouselook without the trouble you have with ACS 7 cars. What could be better: when loading cargo for the GTFO game some load could be added visually as at other cars.
If you like realsistic cars: BUY THIS one!!!
Very good
the driving is fine like always... love the dirt look and the trash inside... very good work....
Detailed and comfortable to use
[Note: This review is based on the v1.01 RHD version.]
It has the usual high driving quality and interactivity that make NTBI vehicles better than the vast majority of SL stuff. It may even be the smoothest-driving yet from the group.
The extensive interior 'clutter' options are very handy for someone who isn't given to modding and adding their own, allowing an extra level of customisation out of the box.
The hybrid engine system is nicely done and so far quite unique. There isn't a whole lot more I could say besides that, as based on what I've seen most people already seem to have a strong idea of whether they're interested in this particular model of car or not.
There were a couple of things that weren't perfect to me, but these are not at all serious and don't affect the functionality at all, so I still rated 5 stars. I suppose it's more of a wishlist, but I'll describe them briefly:
When the engine comes on, the battery takes only 30 seconds to fully charge from 25% to 100%. I know that the battery in these is a lot smaller than in a proper EV (as I don't think this is supposed to be the plug-in model?), but it feels too fast, especially considering you can drive it quite a considerable distance on the battery alone. Using eco mode almost feels like using a cheat in a way because of this, as the engine barely even uses a sniff of fuel to charge it all the way back to full again.
The status display appears to show regenerative braking, but it doesn't seem to actually add anything to the battery, or the amount is so tiny it's never even flipped 1% in any of my tests. Braking on hills or at higher speeds doesn't seem to affect this either. (But I do like that driving uphill uses a lot more battery power. Even maybe a little too much, comparatively; is the motor really doing 10x more work on a mild incline?)
Lastly, I couldn't find any way to reset the trip counter. Holding the button didn't work and I'm all outta ideas.
