Great Airplane To Custom Texture
Great to fly, wonderful to texture.
* Rez six prims and name each of them the six textures of the Caravan.
* Put a UUID finder script in the prims so when you click the prims it gives the UUID in local.
* From your graphics app on your computer save each of the six textures to a folder on your computer.
* In world edit each prim and in the texture tab select the texture box then check Local and go to your computer and select the texture for that named prim.
* Then click each prim and get the UUID and put those UUID's into the paint bucket for each part.
* Then when you change the part texture in your graphics program the plane in world will automatically change texture for each part that you re-saved on your computer.
**This way you can test out painting your Caravans new design without having to pay for texture uploads until you are satisfied with the appearance and then upload the final textures and redo the UUIDs in the paint bucket and paint your Caravan the final time.**
great plane but
I love the plane but you cant modify it and put the GTFO script into it since it has a cargo version thought it would be great for it. if you want it to just fly around I recommend it I am only giving 4 stars because cant modify it to add a script
Trippy Transport
Having moved back to mainland I decided to buy a proper airplane to replace my freebies. It came down to a hoie between this and A.N Other. The Gran Caravan won hands down after I took a test flight and saw how it handled sim crossings. Awesome
I love the fact that Dani made this Mod, thats always a thumbs up from me when creators do that, but to be honest theres not much I would want to change. The plane looks fantastic as it is and the interior is superb. I took it up for a quick play last night before bed and even I, yes even I, managed to get it back to the little airfield I made at 750m above my land whilst avaoiding the dreaded ban lines either side of my property and dropped it quite nicely on the runway.
I am really looking forward to figuring out all the controls and learning to fly this airplane properly because the love and care which Dani has put in to making it deserves only my best efforts to do it justice.
I am essentially a tight wad when it comes to spending but this little beauty is well worth the 3k asking price. Give me a call if you want to fly before you buy, I will be only too happy to hand over the controls, you will love it.

Excellent hud, realistic sounds and high build quality with attention to details.
I own many planes but this one takes the crown and just stand tall above the rest.
