HoA Sissi (Empress Elizabeth of Austria) gown
One of the most famous dresses of all time has now been reproduced by the House of Alisha with our skirt scripts making this dress flow in SL almost as well as it probably did in RL rather than flying up around your hips and exposing your legs.
All the stars on this fabulous dress are recreated here using thousands of individual prim sculpties rather than a texture, giving a more realistic 3D effect to the eye. However this does make this a complex dress for some lower performance graphics cards with an AV rendering cost of over 14000. Please note however that despite what some may think or say, the complexity of a dress does NOT cause server lag as explained in this link :
http://www.massively.com/2008/09/29/massivelys-guide-to-reducing-your-second-life-lag-the-servers/
"If the server is lagging, it will be because of scripts, physics, or just plain overcrowding. Avatar Rendering Cost (ARC) does not affect simulators or lag them. It just isn't a factor"
The stars in the hair are not shown but a fully editable set of stars are included which you may edit to try to fit any hair you wish to wear with this dress. Spare copies of this are available free of charge if you need more.
Obviously at this cost, I am more than happy to demonstrate this gown to prospective purchasers. I can also provide veils and suchlike if you wish to use it for a wedding dress.
This gown now includes the latest version 6 of our special scripts, possibly the most advanced dress control system in SecondLife. Clicking on the skirts in any sim that allows scripts will bring up a menu of options.
The controls on the menu when the skirt is clicked are as follows :
AO On/Off, Set Head, Set Arms, Set Body, Set Walk
The gown includes an AO (Animation Overrider) with replacement animations for standing and walking. However whereas our previous AOs just offered a limited selection, in the new v6 AO you can mix separate animations for the head, arms, body and legs to achieve a range of looks. However the gown does not include any of the 'fidgeting' animations included in some AOs but it is now possible to use another AO whilst standing and the one in the gown whilst walking should you so desire.
Clothing
In Set Fan, the fan provided or other object held in the right hand is waved at an average speed set in the menu but the actual interval and time the fan is flapped is randomised.
Curtsey
A fairly deep curtsey is included in the gown. Clicking on this drops you into position where you will remain until you click on the skirt again whereupon you should rise. Other greetings are included in the Greetings Menu.
Go2/Follow
This allows you to go to and then optionally follow another person. The person being followed can cancel this by clicking on your skirt.
Walk Speed
SL only has one basic walk speed which is fine for normal use but slower speeds can be useful for entering events, especially for the bride at weddings so as to make the time walking up the aisle more realistic. This menu offers a selection of other speeds from a frozen solid to walking at normal speed. Most gowns only allow the wearer to select and control this menu so the stopped setting may seem bit pointless but certain items such as the nun's outfit allow others to be given permission to control them.
Hug/Kiss
This offers the usual Hug and Kiss as well as some more unusual animations. A selection of the people you are facing isoffered in the menu for you to click on. The internal AO is automatically turned off during the embrace for better realism.
Greetings and Expressions
A large selection of standing, greeting, kneeling and praying poses useful for roleplay are included. Once selected, press/click the skirt again to cancel them. If it does not react make sure you do click on the actual skirt or try elsewhere.
The scripts also include some other operations which require no controls :
Due to the internal scripts and animations, these gowns are sold on a no-copy yes-transfer basis with modify rights on the bits that occasionally need to be altered. Please note that many items list in inventory as no-modify because of the no-modify scripts and animations in them but in fact they can still be adjusted. If any part of the garment is damaged in doing so I will happily replace it.
Thank you for looking at this product from the House of Alisha. If you purchase it then I really hope you enjoy wearing it or any of my other gowns as much as I enjoyed making them.
