MORE DETAILS OF THE SETUP:

Easy setup instructions
----------------------------------

I. version

1. Rez the elevator and move into its starting position.
2. Touch it then select RECORD.
3. For every level (including the 'Lobby' level) move the elevator by hand and touch/select SETPOINT. Use SNAP option to snap to whole Z coordinates.
4. When you are finished, touch/select FINALIZE, then touch/select START.

II. version

This version is best suited for identical levels. (Like if you have 5 stories, having 6 metres of distance between each of them.)

1. Create a notecard, name it _config. (There is an underscore in front of the word config...)
2. For every level, enter its coordinates in a vector format. Make sure the X, Y coordinates are the same for every levels.

Example for 3 levels (including lobby):

<100,55,120>
<100,55,126>
<100,55,132>

Save the notecard into your inventory.

3. Rez the elevator, touch/select DELETE. The elevator will get rid of its own current _config card. Now, holding CTRL, drag and drop your _config card (from your inventory) onto the elevator.
4. Touch/select USENC to turn notecard usage ON, then touch/select START.

Calling buttons
----------------------

For every elevator you can only have ONE calling button/object PER level.

1. Rez the calling button. Move it next to the elevator OR move it to a location that is close to your level coordinates.

2. Repeat it for every levels.

3. Touch the button to test if the elevator comes when it is called. If it doesn't come, move the calling button object closer to the XYZ coordinates of that given level.

i found it to be pretty easy to set up i found one thing lacking and thats a shaft door it would be great if the door on the elevators came as a seperate object and was set to open or close even from colision so you could match up the door to the elevator design it would be relitivle easy for the creator to include it
