I agree with everything Cuore Capalini said in his/her review. NOT WORTH L$289 that's for sure!!
I stretch it like crazy...
Yes the LI count goes up, but it can stretch it at least 300% without much distortion, IMO. And if you want a field of it -- way more in background grass. I admit I have lots of prims, but this is probably not meant for those on a prim budget. I have some along a wall pulled out to 20 meters, with other grass in the foreground. It tints easily.
Good if you need small, realistic grass patches..
Pros:
- The quality of the textures is exceptional and very realistic.
- Very useful to cover up smaller spots or add a bit of diversity here and there.
- mod©, no fear of losing anything and the ability to slightly fit color via edit menu to any sort of ground grass you have.
Cons:
- Vendor picture is misleading: while it suggests that you will be able to have a vast landscape of beautiful long grass, in reality all you get is a 3.3x2.3m patch in 5 different colors.
- As soon as you rescale it, the LI goes up faster than you can click. Not recommended for covering bigger spaces!
- For a whopping L$286 not enough variety in sizes and shapes to be able to save on LI count instead of adding to it (i.e. round, square, rectangular - S 3x3, M 9x9, L 18x18, etc)
Maybe I'm doing something wrong?
My character just walks on top of the grass instead of within it. Maybe I'm misunderstanding. I just placed it around the trees for now. Nice detail though :)
