Log Cabin In A Box Version 1.0

Hi. Thanks for your interest in Dag's Log Cabin In A Box. This is the most recent addition to our "In A Box" line. It is a two-level log cabin that has decks on both levels, There is also an attic area perfect for storage of overflow inventory boxes, or it can even be made into a smaller room. Both main levels have a fireplace. We have also included what we will call ... a "root cellar," that is accessible from a ramp door on the main level, that drops down into the cellar. The cabin is accessed via a bi-level stairway, that has a small landing half way up. This cabin also rests on a stone base. We started out by adding a spiral stair to allow access from the main level to the second level. However, it soon became apparent that it took up more space than we desired, so we nixed the stairs and opted for the good old-fashioned "cam up to the second level and double-click" method. The same goes for access to the attic/storage area.

The layout is a simple open, but larger single room on reach level, divided by the open stone fireplace. As an example, we split ours by making the main level a split of living room / dining area. On the main level, there is also a side door that gives secondary access to the deck area. The front wall of the cabin is mostly glass, allowing for a lot of light inside. The remaining walls are log, with windows in the normal fashion. The second level, for our cabin, we made into a bedroom and bath area, again split by the open stone fireplace. The fireplaces also have a wrought-iron chimney pipe that rises through all levels out onto the roof, to ventilate the smoke. Finally, the decks on both levels have stone posts that host a double log railing all the way around and the deck encompasses two sides of the cabin. THE CABIN WILL NEED A 2048m LOT FOR PLACEMENT. THIS IS A RECOMMENDATION, AS THE SPACE NEEDED IS A BIT SMALLER THAN THIS. Our piece of mainland, is on a platform that consists of one section that is 64 x 15 and a second piece that is attached on one end and is 31 x 14. This configuration allowed placement of the cabin and left enough space on the 64 x 15 platform to put a small grove of Oak trees with room for a rounded fire pit and log seating for outdoor excursions. This is really cool if you get the fire pit going and set the sun position to Midnight. Also cool, is if while set to midnight and you additionally leave a fireplace lit inside, the cabin emits a warm glow very visible through the glass front wall of the cabin. The cabin comes unfurnished and the oak grove, fire pit, and seating are also not included. PLEASE NOTE THAT THERE WILL BE NO REFUND IF YOU PURCHASE THIS PRODUCT WITHOUT THE REQUISITE LAND REQUIRED TO REZ IT.

We think that you will have many, many hours of enjoyment with this log cabin. Oh yeah ... I should mention that the cabin is mesh, with a total of only 85LI.
