The 3-wheeled cars, such as those made by Morgan, BSA and Scott-Sociable (or "cyclecars"), avoided the British tax on cars by being classified as motorcycles. These models used air-cooled or liquid-cooled variations of motorcycle engines. The V-Twin models were not returned to production after World War II. Post war versions were powered with a four cylinder sidevalve engine and remained in production until 1952. A Retro V-Twin 3-wheeler was debuted at the Geneva Motor show in 2011. This car uses an air-cooled variation of a V-Twin motorcycle engine and features a 5-speed gearbox (with reverse).

A beautiful car to behold and drive.
I love my new Morgan 3-Wheeler Retro car. It looks fantastic and is a delight to drive. It's got many wonderful features which adds to the realism of the car. You can use the selected hotkeys or click the car for a blue menu. You can toggle the headlamps on or off, honk your horn and burnout. When starting the car engine it makes a startup noise and cut off engine sound when switched off. While switched on the car keeps it's gentle revs with light smoke coming from the exhausts. When driving the engine noise picks up. You can actually see the engine moving, rear lights and indicators work. Lots of great animations. When turning left or right the wheels turn in that direction with complementing animation for turning the steering wheel. Animations for parked, starting car, changing gear, reversing, driving, Idle, left or right turn, passengers and posing outside car. You can lock, unlock car, set alarm, eject, and other features within the menu. A pleasure to own and drive, I can see the Luna Fatale Motors becoming addictive. I love the Retro so much I think the Super Sports version might be next on my list. A real head turner! :)
What a joy!
I got Luna Fatale's Morgan 1934-model first, totally fell in love it (see my review there) and got infected by the Morgan-virus! Isn't it great that Morgan decided to produce a modern-day version of that classic car!? God, if I ever win the lottery, I'll get it in real life too! Whereas the 1934-model has a nice classic feel to it and makes me want to go for a nice drive on a sunny day, this 2012-model feels more robust and tough and makes me want to go *fast*! This car is well-built, looks fabulous, handles wonderfully and for this more-than-reasonable price, it's simply a must-have.
