Update 1.2.
Version 1.2 features a 7-seater rezzable runabout boat to ferry passengers (or yourself) to hard-to-reach landing points, or simply to take your passengers on a water tour.
Numerous other additions, such as internal lighting and navigation switches added, and ATC chatter only whilst under power.

The Dragonfly is designed to be a versatile aircraft, capable of "Island hopping" whilst still being able to land at virtually any airport - the aircraft will land on either prim objects (such as airport runways), or on undeveloped Second Life® ground. This aircraft is unusual in the fact that it uses a top-mounted turbofan engine to supply thrust; most other seaplanes utilize propeller or turbo prop power plants.
It seats six passengers and two crew, and has excellent stability when crossing Sim borders. The interior passenger cabin is roomy, and avoids the claustrophobic sensation of many other aircraft. A sittable bathroom at the back provides relief for those longer flights.
The aircraft can auto-detect airport water ramps, or you may choose semi-manual or fully manual modes when you need to lower landing gear for the transition from water to land. Transitioning from land to water is always handled automatically, and landing gear will retract when the plane finds itself in water..
Although the aircraft is easy to fly, there is still a degree of skill needed to takeoff and land successfully. For example, flaps must be used for both takeoffs and landings, and nose-first landings will not be tolerated. This means you will need to be on your toes during takeoffs and landings, and is intended to add to the realism of flying in Second Life®.
The ability to land on any stretch of water in Second Life® makes this aircraft highly versatile, since it can opens up new routes for both the casual pilot and for airline owners/operators - smaller islands and secluded coves can now be easily accessible.
We hope that you find this aircraft a useful addition to your Second Life® aviation fleet, and we are confident you will find the plane reliable, serviceable, and pleasant to fly.

Realistic behaviors on a plane in sl
If you like a plane in sl that makes you THINK and PAY attention and do things correctly ( as much as possible ) this plane is for you.
The cockpit is very well layed out and the controls inside actually move to follow your commands either by keyboard commands or clicking them inside the cockpit. This is the first plane i can actually do that with.
This plane has great potential in practiced hands, and by my third flight i did land it properly.
I have many planes that are boring to fly, and i don't fly them. this one will provide interest for many flights to come
Great realistic plane !!
Here is a awesome work for SL pilots who valorize the realism, reliability and also gameplay.
Very well builded, great details and features.
Dont need a controls hud, because the dashboard is fully functional and easy to understand. Of course you can use the chat line commands.
The camera hud is simple and don´t need more. Dynamic behavior of views is great!
Excellent physics, soft movements. Low land impact so sim crossings are pretty good.
As the 727, landings and takeoffs are realistic and need to understand the inertia and gravity behavior. Best point of this aircraft.
Cant wait for the next MA plane.... great job THANKS!
Amazing plane
I love this plane. If you liked the 727 (another excellent product) you'll love this one. Excellent handling , sim cross without a glitch. It also has a small boat to get your passengers to shore when you land over water. Other builders should take note about how well done the instrument panel is, with all the info you need clearly visible. Even when SL is having weather problems , this plane flies nicely. A great plane for your collection and another great build by Mc Keenan, thank you!
Worth every bit
An excellent design with great handling. Perfect for sim crossing, modern features, and it's one of the few planes in SL that actually handles turns and banking realistically! Makes you really want to fly it in mouse-look and enjoy every second of it. I wouldn't think twice before recommending this to anyone
Worst plain i have ever bought
dont get this plain the flight controls are rubbish and the flight control system is a joke stay away from it it handles sim crossings like a pig !
