Created for the medieval style sim. This lift uses ropes and pulleys to move a platform and its passengers up and down. Click on the wrench and watch it turn and move the lift in to place. Featuring custom sculpties. Works great for castles, barns, tree houses.
A lot of time was put in to make this Elevator fast and easy to install.
To show just how easy this is to setup and so you can judge if this is the right elevator for you I have posted as much of the manual that can fit below.
Land Impact:
6 prims for the Lift, 3 prims for each floor, 3 prims for cap.
Total prims by number of Floors
2 floors = 15prims
3 floors = 18prims
4 floors = 21prims
5 floors = 24prims
and so on...
Size:
The Base is 5 meters by 5 meters, the height depends on distances of floors. Lift needs a minimum of 3.1 meters by 3.1 meters to operate.
Floor Limit:
The numbers of floors is limited to 12.
Height Limits:
It is suggested that you do not have floors less than 5 meters apart to ensure correct operation. Max Distance between 2 floors can any distance straight up and down. If it is more than 20 meters the lift will move in 20 meter trips until reaching its target. In theory the distance from bottom floor to the Top Floor is only limited by the sim height. This has been tested to 1,000 meters. Travel is broking into 20 meter units to prevent lag causing the avator falling through the floor of the lift.
Floor Naming:
You are able to set your own names for each floor. If you do not want to name all or any of the floors, The elevator will auto generate the floor name/number based off of its position. Floor 1 being at the bottom and counting up with each higher floor. Floor Names are limited to 12 character or less.
Position:
The elevator shaft must be keep in prefect alignment to ensure smooth running of your elevator. Once you have the base set out at the bottom floor it is suggested to not move the elevator or any of its parts. Each floor will be provided with its own menu system to allow you to position the floor with fast and fine alignment.
Rotation:
You may rotate the base before you put out any floors. The floors will be rezzed in alignment with the base. you may have Floors opening to different sides. Use the Floor menu to Rotate which way the floor faces. To ensure your floor aligns with the rest of elevator do not rotate floors using the build tools. The menu system will provide you with the rotates that will work.
Moving or Changing a Built Elevator:
