These are scripts that I get LOTS of request for, and that I also use often myself.
Want to get rid of undesired features of Objects or Attachments that you own?
Hate the sparkly bling on your shoes?
Want a sign or prim to stop revolving?
Or need to safely remove all scripts from an Object?
► Have you tried removing or disabling an Object's scripts, but undesired prim parameters remain? These "clean up" scripts will do the job, quickly and effortlessly.
IMPORTANT: You can only drop scripts into Objects that have MODIFY permissions.
► SUPER EASY to use:
1. Drag the appropriate script from your Inventory onto your Object.
2. Script does its job, then cleanly deletes itself.
INCLUDED:
-- Instructions and Tips Notecard
-- REMOVE ALL Scripts
-- REMOVE ALL Float Text
-- REMOVE ALL Scripts AND Float Text
-- REMOVE ALL Particles / Bling
-- REMOVE ALL Rotation (llTargetOmega)
-- REMOVE All Scripts, Float Text, Rotations, Particles, & Rotation
► Works in any Objects that you have Modify permissions for (so you can drop a clean-up script inside).
Permissions: Copy Only (for use only by You, the Owner).
** Note: These scripts work in any prim you put them in (use 'Edit Linked Parts' if necessary), but for safety do not automatically remove stuff from all child (non-root) prims.
One way to remove scripts quickly is:
1. Edit your (modifyable) Object
2. From Viewer top menu: Select Tools --> Remove Scripts in Selection
or see
http://wiki.secondlife.com/wiki/Remove_all_scripts_from_a_linkset
(5 step process, use with caution)
- 6 Scripts to Clean Up your Objects
- Remove Float Text, Rotation, Particles, Scripts
- Instructions included, if needed.
- Easy to use; just drag script onto your Object.
- Clean-up scripts will self-delete when done!
Works Perfectly
I had a particle effect continuously coming from an object...removing the script didn't do the trick and using this killed it, then the script deleted itself. It's worth the 40L.
my falt
thought removed all script in linked object. not the case
Doesn't remove scripts
I figured "Remove all Scripts" meant it'd remove all scripts in linked prims. Guess not.
