Custom textures and a number of software animations bring to life a series of escalators with moving handrails and a moving custom tread-way the escalators look fairly realistic even when not in usage. However, they are also meant to be used. An avatar can follow the instructions given simply on the escalator steps themselves to left click and get a stair, and then right click and sit (actually stand) on that stair to travel up or down. And of course a number of users can be on any escalator at one time, just as in real life.

Included in Package and specs

We include both up escalator and down escalator versions for each of the following heights:
(16 escalators in all – 8 heights, up and down for each)

* 3m high, 4,5,6,7,8,9, and 10 m high
* Each, up or down is 9 prims when not in usage. 18 prims for one up and one down
* Each rider adds 1 added prim just for the length of their journey, then that prim "dies"

For all escalators, they are on a 45 degree incline, meaning that the height and length is mostly the same, except adding one meter in the outward (not height) for landing areas.

Setup
* Determine height needed and choose best escalators and rez them to the ground near usage
* Move and rotate them as needed. North South East or West will be either: 0 degrees, 90 degrees, 180 degrees, or 270 degrees for z rotation on the second tab under “edit”. Other angles like 34.2 degrees will also work. Please only adjust z rotation and not x and y, since setting x or y rotation to other than zero value might harm operation.

In Between Heights (not in full meters distance)

For in between heights, we also do supply 5 spacers - one rectangular, 2 oval, 2 half oval for your usage. They are 0.5 m high. With these and some adjustment you should be able to make do for most cases from 3 meters to 10 meters high.

Oddities
* While animation textures give the appearance of steps, steps to carry customers/users only exist when the customer clicks to get a step. And the step will only exist temporarily during usage.
* Due to oddities in how SL coding works, we had to use a different method for carrying users in the up escalator and down escalators. The up escalator travel we admit is smoother.

Prim Usage
9 prims per escalator, 18 prims for one up and one down escalator when not in usage. Each passenger temporarily adds one prim just from the time of their journey, and then the software removes that prim (it "dies") at the end of the journey.

Hope you Enjoy!
