This is a Monitor HUD which shows you the online status of an agent on the grid. You don't need the person to be on your friend list.
Program your special "inner circle" into this HUD and turn off that constantly flashing blue pop-up in Preferences and you now have the peace and quiet you want, but still get notified when your special someone or someones log on or off.
One last tip ;)This item is copy, so just create as many tracker lists as you want.

➊ click on the [menu] start the menu
Ⓐ [AddManual]
say: '/7 <username>' to add a person by NAME. Eg: /7 4t Mildor or: /7 4t.Mildor
If LASTNAME is 'Resident' you can say:'/7 <firstname>'
(Take care of capital and little letters in name. Works not for all Avatars! So you have to try add by key or Ⓑ if it is not working.)
Say: '/6 <KEY>, <nickname>' to add a person by KEY. Eg: /6 6ed7f528-9907-4ccf-b00d-0a5d26f5ca32, 4t Mildor
(Phoenix viewer: the key of the person in in the top of their profil.
For other Viewers: Rezz the get_key in world and let other persons click on it to get their key.)
Ⓑ press [AddByRadar] to add people that are in your range of maximum (90meters)
(easyest way to add)
Ⓒ press [IM[✉]] to get a link in chat that is clickable to open the IM-Window from a person on your list
(works only for viewers that are build on viewer2)
Ⓓ press [Profiles【ツ】] to get a link in chat that is clickable to open the profil from a person on your list
Ⓔ press Keys[☟] to get the Key in chat from a person on your list
Ⓕ press [Delete[☠]] to delete people with choosing a person from your list
Ⓖ press [Txtcolor] to change the textcolor
Ⓗ press [Backup] for copying the output text in the notecard 'ContactList' in the Item-Content for backup. if clicked on [Reset] after that friendslist will be automatic load.
(So it will be very easy to copy the contactlist now from this hud to maybe a next version of it. Or just share your contactlist if you like.)
Ⓘ press [Reset] to delete all people on it and reset the hud. Only The people on the notecard 'ContactList' in the Item-Content are loaded.
Ⓙ press [OnlyOn웃] to see only the online persons
Ⓚ press [OnAndOff웃] to see online and offline persons
Ⓛ press [Chat OFF] to disable the message notification if someone goes online or offline
Ⓜ press [Chat ON] to enable the message notification if someone goes online or offline
➋ you are able to modify the hud
(eg.: edit the textur or replace the sounds for online and offline notification in content..)
➌ it beeps if someone goes online or offline
➍ it shows how many peoples are online from your list

hard reset:
rezz it in sandbox.
rightclick it and choose edit.
then in the top of firestorm choose:
build > scripts >set scripts to running
and:
build > scripts >reset scripts
now take it back to your inventory.

Wow, ok so I totally love this thing now.
Don't know how I ever did without it before.
I have several separate "copies" with unique avi lists in each copy, depending upon what I'm doing (e.g. If I am roleplaying at a certain sim, I wear that particular one, if I am waiting for a response from a seller that's important, I have a seller one of these..., I only wear two if I am not going to add anyone because the script adds to "all" huds I am wearing but I frequently wear two or more)

Is there a way to show both [username] - [legacy name]?
And maybe even [username] - [legacy name] - [group tag]?
thinking for RP that would be nice, there's lots of legacy names that once one RP their name is just so totally different kind of thing :)
Anywho... this item rocks, if you don't have one you gotta get one. Quick to learn, make copies first and rename each copy something you can tell which one goes with which thing you do, then wear one at a time and load avis in. Awesome!!

This is the best online status hud that I have ever used!

Click on menu after and you can send anyone on your list an IM or easily access their profile!
The best thing I likes was that every time someone on your list comes online or goes offline it makes a really nice sound!
