This is a museum quality piece. Created around 800AD, The Book Of Kells features page after page of lavish, colorful lettering, illumination, decoration and intricate illustration. This is one of its more simpler images , if you can imagine! It comes in it's authentic age-old state. As is, imperfections intact.
This is the most elaborate manuscript of its kind to survive from the early Middle Ages. It was commonly believed for a time that it was created by angels.The workmanship is so fine that some of the details can only be clearly seen with a magnifying glass.
