Hello, and thank you for checking out my pixie wings.
This is a completely redesigned version of my old pixie wings. The mesh is updated, and I've created entirely new textures.
These are 100% mesh wings rigged to the new bento wing bones.
They have a built-in AO script for the wing movement that will make them flutter whenever you're hovering or flying.
When standing still, they will either idly move, or fold down on your back, controlled by a very small and simple HUD element.
The wings come with 8 differently coloured textures controlled using the same hud.
I created these for my own personal use, and am happy to share them with the rest of SL now.
Now, besides normal sized, also includes a petite sized version for petite avatars.
*By request, I added a 10% scaled version. These work on micro sized avatars. (sometimes called 0.25m avatars)
*note: This is 100% my own creation. My previous pixie wings were removed due to a malicious DMCA report. I have all the original blender and PSD files that show the creation of these wings step by step. If this gets reported again, I will take legal action.

I LOVE THSES WINGS!
These wings are amazing. Got the demo, was slightly hesitant buying the full product as i didn't really like the colour options available, but based on the reviews saying you could recolour them i went for it....and oh my word! My av is blue with dark hair...i went with the red with black edges colour option and recoloured to dark green. lowered glow and transparency slightly and now i have awesome wings which depending on position and angle change from a lightish blue through green to red, totally fitting my av. I cannot recommend these highly enough. Really very nice product. A full 5 stars!
Exactly what I was looking for!
They fold down the back and spread automatically when you start to fly. I wanted wings like the Fae in Carnival Row, and these are pretty darn close. Great job!
Very pretty, easy to modify
Pretty much everything I was hoping:
* The "veins" on the wings can be colored separately without using a texture.
* Setting the main texture to "Blank" (for easier tinting) still looks good due to the normal and specular maps.
* Comes in five different sizes (four for regular avatars + one for tiny ones.) Can't change size manually, but that's unavoidable with rigged mesh.
* The animations seem to be universal to all sizes (except possibly the tiny one; haven't checked) so it's easy to attach multiple sizes at once and use a script to change the alpha so they appear to change size (e.g. when you start/stop flying.)
* Also, setting glow + fullbright on the "veins" looks awesome and you need to try it. :D
If there's one thing I'd like to see that isn't there already, it would be maybe one or two additional larger sizes, like one that's as tall as a normal human avatar, and maybe a gigantic one that's twice that size, or at least the largest size that doesn't stretch the textures too much or make the model not fit properly. (Note: I'm NOT saying the sizes included look at all bad on a normal human avatar.)

These wings move nicely (that natural bento movement you want), they flutter quickly, are very pretty and fold perfectly. Simple colorful small hud too. But what I love most is that they're modify! I was able to create my own custom texture for my wings and just copy the original and make a special pair to wear, how awesome of the creator to do that. Thank you for doing such a nice thing! Highly recommend these. <3

The best pixie wings i have found in sl ..... they work perfectly for my petite and my full size fairy ..... my micro not so much they don't seem fit just quite right ..... other than that i recommend them to any one who is looking for a great set of wings for there petite or human sized fairy's
