Hello, and thank you for checking out my pixie wings.
This is a completely redesigned version of my old pixie wings. The mesh is updated, and I've created entirely new textures.
These are 100% mesh wings rigged to the new bento wing bones.
They have a built-in AO script for the wing movement that will make them flutter whenever you're hovering or flying.
When standing still, they will either idly move, or fold down on your back, controlled by a very small and simple HUD element.
The wings come with 8 differently coloured textures controlled using the same hud.
I created these for my own personal use, and am happy to share them with the rest of SL now.
Now, besides normal sized, also includes a petite sized version for petite avatars.
*By request, I added a 10% scaled version. These work on micro sized avatars. (sometimes called 0.25m avatars)
*note: This is 100% my own creation. My previous pixie wings were removed due to a malicious DMCA report. I have all the original blender and PSD files that show the creation of these wings step by step. If this gets reported again, I will take legal action.

Any Petite out there knows how awkward it can be to get good mesh bento wings. These are simply superb. The Petite size fits every Yabusaka and Fallen Gods Petite avatar I've tried them on like a glove. They animate as soon as your wear them - no need to wear the wings and a separate animator to keep them moving. The animations are nothing short of stunning; smooth, gentle movements, which automatically switches to a rapid flapping when you fly. They're not high complexity or lag inducing, they have a complexity of about 30k.
I figured the HUD out pretty quickly. You'll see a small box on your screen with an image of two butterflies, one black and one rainbow coloured. Clicking on the rainbow coloured butterfly gives you the eight textures you can choose from, and once you've selected a colour it brings you right back to the main screen.
The black butterfly controls the animations. Click the top wing segment to make your wings flap really fast, the middle segment to set them to the smooth "standing" animations, and the bottom segment to make them fold down against your back. I LOVE that last option! I also love being able to control the rapid flapping because my "walk" is a flying animation, so it's great to just click the HUD and have my wings flutter as I walk.
Is there a bad side? Well as others noted, using a Firestorm AO can cause the wings to stop animating. Unwearing and rewearing fixes it, but you're best off using a separate AO. Also, the way the wings and colour are set makes them very temperamental when it comes to modding. Tinting, or even changing the glow or setting them to full bright produces very weird results, so I strongly suggest you don't mod them. You will STILL love them. The textures are gorgeous. In fact, I want more! Maybe an add-on HUD sometime down the line?
Best faerie wings on the Marketplace.
These wings are beautiful. The Marketplace photo doesn't do them much justice... They fit perfectly on your character's back, even on a small child avatar like mine's, and glisten gorgeously in the light. The three movement settings are perfect, and can be modified and customized fairly easily!
After buying like 3 or 4 of the top brand wings, I think these are absolutely the nicest and most beautiful. Absolutely recommend!!!

I love these wings
I bought these wings, an AO and a pair of antennae and presto, I am a pixie/faerie. I had a corrupted file delivery and my HUD did not display correctly at first, but Aenea sent me a redelivery within 12 hours and that HUD works fine. There are three states to the wings: flutter, still (subtle movements), and folded. And you can changed the color of the wings to at least 8 different textures. They are really cute and come in 6 different sizes (L, M, S, ES, Petite, Micro), and there are 3 HUDs one for L/M/S/ES, one for Petite and one for Micro. They come unpacked/boxed, so you can put them on immediately. Thank you Aenea for a great product and great customer service!

Thanks for keeping them with Modify permissions. It helps to better match our avatars. These work very well on normal sized avatars. I appreciate having the folded wing option.

These wings are some of the best fairy wings I've found on SL! Aenea was nice enough to resize the wings to fit my custom made fairy avatar, which is far smaller than most of the more popular "micro" avatars on the market. I was provided with great customer service and my only complaint is that I can't give more stars. :P The wings come in a variety of sizes, so I highly recommend them!
