The game 'Berserker' is an animated board game with particle effects and sounds (check out the video below). It can be played by one or two players. The board is 6 by 6 fields, and has 8 red and 8 white 'berserkers'--wild, raging warriors who know no fear and bite their shields in anticipation of a fierce battle.
Each player takes a turn placing a berserker on the board. If it is surrounded by other berserkers, it will push them all away, unless they are blocked by another behind them. They can even be pushed off the board, to be used again later. The first to make a line of three berserkers, wins the game. Alternatively, the first to place all 8 berserkers on the board, wins.
The sound level of the screaming berserkers can be set to 'loud', 'soft', or 'silent'. Access can be set to 'owner', 'group', or 'everyone'. An instructions notecard is included.

I LOVE THIS FREAKING GAME!!
My boyfriend took me to a park where they had this game for anyone to play, yes I lost a lot of times because I was new to it, but we had hours of fun playing this game. I just had to buy my own personal one.

For the price its a bargain AND its copy so great for clubs.
What gets me the most is the animations ans sounds the pieces make (so funny makes me laugh)

It's amazing how such a simple game can be so much fun! And it looks great and sounds great!
I have a few suggestion, though:
1. An option for the game owner to set the time after which the game will time out or to completely turn it off. It's kind of annoying when you have to go afk for a few minutes and the game times out before you are back
2. We often get carried away with a conversation and forget whose turn it is. So, maybe add a small square to one of the borders, that would turn white or red, depending on whose turn it is
3. It would be great if there was a score board, that would show the top 5 players. Maybe even a tournament mode? :)

Such a fun game that involve a good amount of strategy. The board is beautiful and the little berserkers are cute and such funny screams. Definitely worth the price and more!
Totally worth it
If a game lasts more than 5 minutes, count me out, but this one is great! It's like a tic-tac-toe on a checker board, and the animations/sounds are hilarious. Not to mention it's a steal. I love it!
Comically Underpriced.
The core game itself is absurdly simple (just click literally any empty square on your turn to place a piece there) but actually getting good at the game can be brain-baking, requiring planning and anticipation.
The animations and sounds are adorably entertaining. A berserker actually leaps onto the board when you click, flailing his arms around and shouting one of several high-pitched, non-verbal battle-cries, even casting a shadow. He lands with a small puff of dust and a satisfying "clack," and any pieces he pushes away make more subtle "clacks" and animations as they're repositioned. Berserkers pushed off the board reappear around the side in little poofs of smoke. Berserkers that are blocked from being pushed away nonetheless "hop" up briefly, a nice extra touch that helps new players understand one of the game's critical mechanics. When the game is won, the winner's pieces all raise their swords repeatedly and shout out a series of war-whoops; even when the game is reset, the pieces on the board make sound effects as they get shuffled quickly back to the sides, rather than simply "popping" back into place.
Even if you aren't a fan of board games of this nature, get it for somebody who is. It's one of Second Life's loveliest little gems.
