Reel-To-Reel Tape Recorder With 7.5 Hours Of Meditation Music
The TBF Reel-To-Reel Tape Recorder pack includes a tape recorder (LI=4) and a collection of TBF Record Boxes (LI=1 each) with music.
The reel-to-reel tape recorder can be operated by clicking on it and using the dialog window accordingly. It has most of the options that a real-world music player provides, Start, Stop, Pause, but also Rewind, Previous, and Next. In addition, the option Pick can be selected, which will produce a list of clickable song titles in Local Chat. These titles are only clickable in a dedicated Local Chat window, not on the main screen.
Also, both musical particles and announcing the next song in Local chat can be turned on or off. Changing the tape recorder's music content is discussed in the second section of this document. As a final feature, the owner can set access to operating the tape recorder to Owner-only, Group members-only or Everyone.
Each notecard inside the tape recorder contains a song, or, more precisely, a list of UUIDs, each of which represents a 10-second sound fragment. The tape recorder plays the fragments consecutively, thereby generating a continuous stream of in-world music. There are two ways to change the musical content of the TBF Reel-To-Reel Tape Recorder:
First, the notecards inside the tape recorder can be removed manually, by right-clicking the object and selecting Edit. In the Content tab in the Edit panel, a list of notecards will appear that can be selected, copied to your inventory, or deleted. Other music notecards can be moved from your inventory into the contents panel of the tape recorder. Note that these notecards have to adhere to the format required, i.e. containing a list of music UUIDs.
Second, the musical content of the TBF Reel-To-Reel Tape Recorder can simply be changed by rezzing a TBF Record Box within 10 meter distance and then by clicking on this record box. Subsequently, the tape recorder will ask for conformation for its contents to be replaced by the contents in the record box, which will then be done automatically. Note that only the owner of the tape recorder is able to change its content in this way.
