It looks like a piece of modern art, yet this clock is easy to read once you know the secret. Each of the colored rings denote the date or time, as you would see on a sundial. Going from inside to out, the rings are: Month, Day, Hour, Minute, and Second. The "Polar Clock 2" bonus includes an additional weekday ring between day and hour.

For a quick glance at the precise time, touch the clock and a hovertext display will appear for a few seconds. If you want to show this text all the time, edit the notecard (see below) and set show_text to TRUE.

Setting it Up

For basic use, rez the clock somewhere and you're done. By default, the clock is set to display Second Life time in 24 hour format and works right out of the box. If you want to change the timezone, refresh speed, or other options, edit the clock and double-click the __config__ notecard which you'll find on the contents tab. Instructions for editing the card are contained within.

For the creative types, I've made this clock modifiable and completely customizable. You may resize and recolor to your heart's content.
