The collar is just as pictured, no tricks of the light or anything to make it seem more than it is, what you see is what you get and it's just as detailed in-world.
The collar's rigging is good, had no clipping of any sort on the standard avatar, a few mesh bodies worked out just fine. I put one on with a thicker neck and there was minor clipping, but the creator responded quick, and after a demonstration is considered uploading an unrigged version as well.
