Just lovely
I can't believe there are no reviews of this house yet. It is maybe a little pricey but so worth it.
First the dimensions are perfect. I have an odd shaped 3584 parcel that is a long thin rectangle with an irregular 512 end sticking out at one end. It is partially water land with a small beach. While one side could be long I need one side 32 m or less and fit well on the 2048 beach area. This house fit the bill with a little room on each side to walk around,
The land impact is also good. While it is advertised as being 160 or 161 prims, I found when I rezzed the house that the bathroom floors and walls are detached and can be removed. Without those pieces, the 3 bedroom 2 bedroom house comes in at 156 land impact so it can be a little lower than 160/161 if the bathroom tiles are not important to you. I like to have plenty of room for decor in my prim allowance so it's nice to have a home that is well under 200 land impact but still feels like a house.
It's also just pretty and well built. I love that I can tint all of the walls to personalize it. I love that is has so many porches and balconies. Living on mainland beach and being able to sit and watch sunsets on the balcony is enjoyable. I wanted something with big windows to take advantage of the view. I didn't want something tiki or modern/California style. I wanted something classic. Most of the window sections can be opened.
I absolutely recommend going and looking at the house in world to get a feel for it. I also own the Dill Hurst and have not been disappointed in Roost yet.
