This is for you if you are looking to generate weather effects for an area slightly smaller than a quarter-sim, and have a house which you would like to keep the rain and snow out.
Weather effects cover 50x50m, 50x100m, 100x50m or 100x100m.
You are advised not to buy this product if the Basic FPS on your land is less than 20 frames per second (Ctrl-Shift-1 on your viewer).
Included in the box are:
1. Three types of control panel (including a HUD)
2. Rezpoint marker - for easy positioning to centre the area of effects covered by the weather emitters
3. Sound booster
4. Really useful Rain Resistant Roof script
Drop the Rain Resistant Roof script into your prim or building. Name the prim or specific link as "roof" to make it resistant to rain and snow from the weather emitters. (Restart required). Unlike earlier versions of the roof script which only support square roofs, your roof can be now be rectangular or other shapes, and it can support a linked object with multiple roofs.
*** IMPORTANT NOTE ON ROOF LIMITATIONS***
a) Your linked object (eg. house) should not be more than 70 prims in total
b) Your linked object cannot have more than 9 prims that are designated as roof prims, or you may experience leakage.
c) Area of weather coverage cannot exceed 100m x 100m (ie. maximum of 4 precipitation emitters, regardless of number of Rezpoint Markers). Leakage will occur if you use with more than 4 precipitation emitters at a time.
d) Script tested on regular prims only. Roof detection may not work with cut prims, sculptured prims and mesh.
e) Rain-resistant does not mean rain-proof. Controlling particles is not an exact science, and in some cases you may see some leakage due to the positioning of your roof or the emitters. Trial and error may be required to shift your roof or emitters to achieve a better effect
PRIM COUNT
- Master control panel is 6 prim, or you can choose to rez the basic control panel (3 prim) or wear the HUD
- Cloud emitters take 9 prims (for 50x50m area) up to 36 prims (for 100x100m area).
- Precipitation emitters (for rain/snow) take 9-36 prims, but there is a mode to make them temp prims [new feature]

- Sound booster: Mod and copy
- Rain resistant roof script: Copy only
- You don't have permission to modify, copy or transfer anything else

Weather maker
I was really looking forward to setting this up over my house. The weather resistant roof worked great. Unfortunately I was disappointed with the quality for the amount I paid. Don't get me wrong it does roughly what it advertises. I think my problem is that I'm used to better details for most of my things. It looks kind of funny hovering so low to the roof but if too high you don't see the weather at all. Set up was quick and to the point. The HUD worked easily overall. My opinion is I was too antsy to tweak any particular weather choice for long. (I kept playing with all the options it has. :)) I wish inworld store would let you test the system out before investing so much. Would I buy this again? Probably not, it just doesn't appeal to me personally. It does provide a wide range of weather, including fun things like cats and dogs. And it gives you three different control options. This creation is well made with plenty of thought put into it, I look forward to more of their work soon.
Awesome System!
A little bit late with my review but wanted to run this system for a while....honestly this is the best Weather System in SL! ...low prim costs....WONDERFUL effects....easy set up..... low lag if any at all (I haven't noticed any lag at all on my SIM)....and this pack comes with everything you could possibly need! The creator is friendly and extremely helpful ....I think the only thing i would add to this system is another option for snow ....Heavey Snowfall (Blizzard) :-) If I could give more stars I would. Awesome job!
