NOTE: If your sim uses a lot of particles already, do not buy this product. The rain, snow and cloud effects are particle effects. As the number of particles in the sim (and area of coverage) increases, particle effects will appear less dense, and may disappear periodically ("particle starvation"). Results may vary depending on your graphics card, viewer settings, and your sim. If the FPS on your land is below 20 usually, this product may not be for you. (Press Ctrl-Shift-1 to see your FPS, under Basic).
PRIM COUNT
- Included in this box are 2 styles of the control panel: Basic (3 prim), Master (6 prim)
- Each emitter is 9 prims, and can generate either clouds, or precipitation (rain/snow)
-- 50x50m area requires 1 emitter
-- 100x100m area requires 4 emitters
-- 150x150m area requires 9 emitters
-- 200x200m area requires 16 emitters
-- 250x250m area requires 25 emitters.
If both clouds and precipitation are required at the same time, DOUBLE the number of emitters are required. eg. 100x100m needs 36-72 prims.

SCRIPT PERFORMANCE
- High performance low lag scripting used in the development of this product
- Each emitter only has 1 script (0.003ms - 0.004ms) to cover area of 50m x 50m
- Control panel only has 1 script (0.004ms)

The two best things about this system: (1) The ease of setup and operation. (2) The creator's responsiveness to questions. My only regret is I didn't install this system sooner. Fantastic weather effects.
Great Product
Creator Is Super Friendly. Answers Questions. She took time to come to my sim to help when needed. Highly Recommend Her Products. If you have been eye balling this system. Just Do it cause that's what I did. Just watch your prims. But you will be sorry if you don't get this :P
Holy Prim Hell!
First off I should start by saying this product worked beautifuly and the effects were pretty great. HOWEVER it is advertised incorecctly becuase it takes up well over 3 prims. When the system is running it took every last prim I had left (390) and still wanted more. Not happy with this system becuase of this.

I've been eyeballing this product for quite a while, tried the demo in-world several times, and decided to go ahead and treat myself to it today. I love a good rainy day, and this weather maker makes it come to life in SL. The rain resistant roof (sold separately) is also worth the buy. Love the features and settings... very happy with this purchase!
Totally Awesome Weather Maker
This system is totallly awesome! It works beautifully full coverage even to the corners. A great prim saver too. By the time I took all my snowball prims down which were 13 prims each my available prims went from 380 something up to 629 available prims. I'm not complaining that gives me more prim for more deco. MEGA Weather Maker is the way to go. I highly recommend this product. And the creator is very helpful. Speedy reply to questions. Fantastic all the way around. You want a good weather system on your sim...this is the one. Smooth sailing ....sometimes ;) Watch out for the lightening :)
Nice Options
For the additional functionality of this product I give it 5 stars...and the snow is amazing! But I don't use the rain emitter, as it seems to fall in square groupings. I have found much cheaper emitters with far better rain particle effects. Do they allow you to control weather sim wide? Of course not! That's the beauty of this product. If one needs sim-wide weather control, this is the ideal tool. If one just wants great looking rain, with decent sound....you might look elsewhere and be better served. I'm sorry...I feel bad because this is the first time I've ever NOT given a perfect review of a product I purchased, but I'm knocking off one star due to the rain. If an update is ever available for this product with better particle effects, I'll be first in line to purchase it.
