Giving five stars cause this an excellent BOM starter, but all of a sudden I'm now getting a gap between the body and head that I didn't before.

Very useable

With some shape subtlety, this complete av is very useable as a full time mesh body for even an SL dinosaur like me. Places for improvement: neck, wrist and ankle seams need to be shaped to the SL default shape (at zero body fat) to be compatible with third party heads, hands, and feet. These seams also occasionally sparkle transparent from certain angles, so there's work to be done there. It would be nice if the head had a neck blender to make the normals smoother over the neck seam. I may take a crack at some of these changes myself when I get some time.

Amazing freebie

Being bakes-on-mesh enabled really opens up the Ruth Project to new users and those who don't have the skills to make their own skins. As an alt of a long-time Resident, this is much appreciated.

It's not perfect of course (if it was, it wouldn't be free). The mesh is still a little lumpy around the hips and shoulders but the wrists and ankles are a huge improvement on the system body. And there is a gap of about one pixel width at the neck where the head and body join (you can't see it unless you zoom in really close). However, wearing the head separately with Maitreya body, there is no gap. In some ways this body is better than Maitreya; it responds better to extremes on the sliders; very small or very large breasts for example (It will go down to breast size 0 with no distortion; Maitreya won't go below about 18). It also doesn't have the same weird armpit/shoulder shape that Maitreya has.

As for clothing compatibility, obviously all system layer stuff works perfectly, Classic Fitmesh and Standard Sizings work best as there's no alpha hud - this body uses system alphas only. I have also had success with a few items in Slink Hourglass and Belleza Venus sizes, especially when adding a bit of belly to the shape sliders. Ruth is curvier than Maitreya and most Maitreya clothes are too slim-fitting.

You ought to update your advertising picture, it really doesn't show the incredible potential of this body. https://i.gyazo.com/adc585bc3f561222e67889780f614ad3.png

Fantastic Freebie!

This is a great freebie body and makes a huge difference for people just starting out. Being able to use the BOM feature lets you continue to use SL standard clothing with your pretty mesh body and that is a big deal. With the right skin this mesh is comparable to top line meshes. Just wish I could find more mesh clothes that fit it.

Haven't had a chance to check everything out, but this update seems to be a huge leap forward in quality. Bakes On Mesh works great, and is a big help all around, especially when trying to alpha out specific sections of the body.
