This set of scripts let's you create and sell your own flickering holographic images and slideshows with on/off switch sounds and easy to setup access control.
You can make standalone holograms and also holograms linked to a base prim including and on/off switch. Example linkset is included.
Particle based sprites produce an animated image in midair, centered on the emitter prim, that constantlty orients itself to your camera (point of view), showing the same viewing perspective from every angle to any avatar viewing the sprite.
They are usually used in bidimensional static or animated statues, sculptures, billboards and signs that anyone can see straight from any angle.
This script let's you:
-Quickly generate a single image or slideshow hologram viewable from all angles
-Play different sounds on switch on/off
-Fine tune access control as you like: owner,anyone,group with support for avatar whitelist and blacklist
-Sell your own holograms inworld and in the marketplace

This scripts should not be resold as it is but only applied to your own customized creations.
The flickering effect may not be visible in some regions or parcels.
Update 4.5: Added simple instructions on how to create switchable phantom holograms. Those you can walk through and switch on/off.

Update 5.9: * Slideshow texture preload will preload texture on the generator prim, not the root base prim.
* Textures files used for generating the hologram now can have any combination of permissions.
* Holograms with a base prim now only need to have texture files in the child generator prim.
Great script and service
This was very easy to set up initially, using the instructions. I contacted the creator for help with stopping/lessening the pace of flickering and I got a quick reply, an updated NC with a bit more detail, and help understanding the max time for flickering. It is costly but there are so many options to display the hologram, the sounds, turning off and on (which I like a lot, for my need), and permissions. Totally worth it.
I'm very disappointed with this purchase
I required a ready to use model example and the packaging did not include one. I also asked the creator for one and I never heard a word back. Nobody can say I didn't try to salvage this sale, It's been two years since I bought this and haven't used it once. What a waste of money and worse of all, what terrible service to never even reply to customers. Sad wasted purchase this was. I am very disappointed in the product and the lack or reply.
A pretty good and easy way to make your own holograms.
This is the perfect thing to setup your own holograms for whatever occasion that you want (roleplay, decoration, etc.).
I don't know why the last reviewer gave this a 1/5 stars, or why they couldn't get it to work. Setting up the hologram is as easy as pizza pie. Just follow the instructions step-by-step and you'll have a floating hologram image in less than a minute. You can turn the hologram on/off by simply clicking on the object that you put the scripts in.
One thing to note, however, is that you'll need some basic scripting (coding, programming) knowledge to change the values of each variables to change things like how fast each texture transitions to the next texture in a slide show. The seller has commented (put notes in the code) inside the code, so it's easier to understand.
No don't believe it
I hate to say it but it does NOT work. I got it a while back and asked for help if it was working so well for others I wanted the same. It didn't. There was no response for help either to see what was wrong. Don't buy is no matter what the other reviewers say. And to the others...glad it worked Nd wish it worked as well for me...or at ALL!
