Sculpt Studio & Mesh Studio
▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬
Sculpt Studio and Mesh Studio are in-world content creation tools, with additional web-based components.
They help SL content creators to bridge the gap between in-world building and the creation of Sculpts and Meshes.
The best way to learn about Sculpt Studio and/or Mesh Studio is by asking friends who already have experience. There are a lot of us in SL. If you need to find such a friend first, please visit our (very large) official support groups listed below.

See item in Second LifeThis is definitely worth more than 5 stars. I made the mistake of purchasing the cheaper versions (*cough*Sloft*cough*) and am still kicking myself for it ... This one is far superior and the creator is continuing to improve it based on requests and input from users.
The auto features are a godsend. The other programs force you to edit, align, and size each slice manually which can be a real pain ... other things like smooth curves are virtually impossible. There are some scripts that can help but aren't nearly as advanced or complete as the options found in Sculpt Studio. Smooth, morph, curve AND MIRROR features are absolute genius! There isn't another tool out there that offers this kind of precision, efficiency, and control that is also surprisingly easy to figure out (unless you have a brain like Aminom and can figure out the math required to do this stuff in Photoshop).
Most beginners pick it up by watching someone else use it (like during the free classes which occur every Sunday at 2pm and 6pm) or the various demo's other members host on their own. I suggest you try it out BEFORE reading the notecards ... I consider my building skills to be beginner to intermediate and found it to be very intuitive (didn't need classes to get the hang of it). For those that need it, they're free! Definitely join the group if you can't make the classes because there are plenty of users that welcome spectators and will even host a class (like myself).
Some concepts require learning regardless of what sculpt program you're using like knowing your subject enough to sculpt it and understanding some concepts of sculpties in general (like slices and points). And those with weaker building skills would do best picking up a few basic building tips in regards to moving prims around, etc. But the group is friendly and the creater is more than eager to help in any way he can.
UPDATE: It's been a few months since I started sculpting and I now have a successful line of sculpty items for content creators ... To show my eternal gratitude, I took some time to create a tutorial for Sculpt Studio that you can find on my livejournal: ghanielane[at]livejournal[dot]com ... Sculpt on!
This is one of the best tool i get here.I am glad i bought it and not one from the cheaper tools. Many thanks to TBB and his team for this amazing tool.
I hate to give the Sculpt Studio less than four stars, because I know the author put a lot of work into it. Here are my issues with the Sculpt Studio: The interface doesn't allow you to see what your scuplt will look like, so you end up spending $10L every time you finalize the sculpt, to see if it turned out right. If it didn't it's back to the drawing board. I know this isn't possible via the LSL script language, but it makes the sculpt process tedious and unpredictable. I would rather spend time learning a 3D program than pulling my hair out with this tool. The author doesn't explain in the manual how to get the best results. My sculpts with the tool have been sub-par. I'm sure they woud improve with time and learning the nuances, but having to pay $10 a pop to learn from my mistakes can get costly. If you can get past the shortcomings, it's a one-of-a-kind tool and you probably can't find any other way to make complex sculpts like these in-world.
I'm finding it a bit hard to use. I was expecting tools more similar to the ones in SL.
Excellent product, a bit ar to use first time but simply incredible !
From fare the best item i've ever bought. Very usefull tool for whoo wants to build his own sculpted prims without having to use alt softwares over priced !
owner took time out to personally show me how this works unlike the other in world sculpty owner who was actually very rude.
