Sculpt Studio & Mesh Studio

Sculpt Studio and Mesh Studio are in-world content creation tools, with additional web-based components.
They help SL content creators to bridge the gap between in-world building and the creation of Sculpts and Meshes.
The best way to learn about Sculpt Studio and/or Mesh Studio is by asking friends who already have experience. There are a lot of us in SL. If you need to find such a friend first, please visit our (very large) official support groups listed below.

Best customer service in SL! Mesh Studio
I purchased Mesh Studio and took a class on it. Overthinking as usual I made a mess of things. I contacted customer support, (listed on the sales page) and was given immediate and patient support. It took some time but I GOT IT! I now have a fleet of mesh insects with which to infest my enemies with! :D THANK YOU Eleanor! This could not have been easier!
Kind of Worthless
this product has pretty much been useless. support is nearly non-existent. worst SL investment ever.
AVOID AVOID AVOID
As I write this, the servers for this product have been offline for a long time with no indication of when they are coming back up. Without the server functionality to create the actual sculpt map for you, this product is worthless, and people should be told they will be spending L$5K for something that won't work.
If and when the servers come back online, the product works well, but the awful customer service and frequent downtime means potential buys should learn from the mistakes of those of us who paid for something on which we can't rely.
Avoid this like the plague. Right now, you would literally be throwing your money away.
DONT BUY IT
I bought this and had it for a few weeks when the server went down.. its now been down for over a month. Every week a new excuse, and if you voice concern in the group you get attacked by people who are watching to keep the complaints about the non-usability down. There are promises and excuses.. The builder hardly ever comes to second life, and requests for a refund have been completely ignored. I would LOVE to have my 20 dollars back..
Just awesome
Easier than Blender, and since you're creating in world, it's easier to size your sculpts! Plus there are all kinds of fun things you can do about manipulating your bounding box that can't really be done in Blender or Maya. Just full of YAY!
